Behringer only give the manuals to their authorized service agencies I am told.

Mixers are very symetrical and have lots of diagnostic capability from the outputs.

If you headphones work, chances are the moxer biss es are OK which probably focuses the problem on the output drivers.

Use headphones to see what jacks work... Remember that a stereo headphone will only have sound on one side for the mono jacks you test.

If your mains have a dedicated slider, one half of the slider could be bad. Usually you can tell those by a rougness as you slide them.

You do not specify what model you have.
It could be related to the power supply shutting down (e.g. from overheating) then restarting after cooling down.
If the mixer has a fan, you could check if it is uncovered, clean and running.

Behringer mixer Eurorack UB802 is losing partial stereo signal in one channel. When I record (audacity software) I can hear both channels but displays one channel. Is it my computer's audio jack t

Sounds like the output cable from the 802 is not correctly pinned to your input on the computer. Fred is on the right track but you may need to take it a bit further.
It may also be helpful to use a Pro USB audio interface such as the Digigram UAX220v2 (line level version).
If you wish to use the computer's on board sound card consider an IHF/Pro interface that converts balanced audio to unbalanced , and the proper cables. Two 3-wire balanced 1/4-inch from the 802 to the left and right inputs of the interface (XLR Male), then RCA (Red and White) to a 1/8-inch TRS Plug cable onto the the computers audio input.
Henry Engineering's Matchbox HD comes to mind.
Good Luck.

One channel working and one not

Yep... failed channel... most likely "A" channel? There is weak insulation between two layers of conductors on the power amp circuit board that breaks down and blows out the switching transistors for that side... it is usually the rear-most amp. Repair of the board takes GREAT skill in restoring it as the burned area must be ground away and re-insulated and jumpers put in to replace the circuit that has to be removed. The blown components then have to be replaced. One can buy a new HCA2400 amp module for about $155, but delivery takes forever. Also please read my tip on Fixya regarding PMP Behinger powered mixers of a hazard when using Speakon to 1/4 inch speaker cables/adapters.

Where (on-line) can we find download for advanced manual for Behringer PMP 4000 16 channel powered mixer? What we found on-line was the exact manual that came with the mixer.

There really ISN'T and "advanced" manual... Everything you need to know is in the user manual that comes with it... Service manual with schematics will not give you much you can use unless you are into electronics detail.

PLEASE read my tip about Behringer PMP mixers on here regarding a hazard if you use Speakon to 1/4 inch cables or adapters. Essentially, the sleeve, NOT the tip is the HOT lead for a speaker on channel A. Ground it inadvertently and goodbye channel A amp.

Be VERY careful of speaker leads with this amp as it is easy to pop a channel IF a speaker comes loose or shorts. Loop cables through the handlesto avoid cables being yanked out or breaking plugs.

My UB2222FX mixer has lost stereo channels any ideas if its worth the time and money to fix? How is it fixed?

It should be repairable. Some simple testing will isolate the bad section. A common problem I have seen are people who power their system from different sources such as powering the mixer from a receptacle at the back of a room and speakers from other receptacles at the front of a room. Ground bounce and fault currents can fry input and output audio circuits. power ALL interconnected equipment from a single receptacle or power source.

Ch. 10 does not work - Mackie 1604-VLZ PRO

Yes, the ribbon cable is the 1st thing I would check. You can check the ribbon like this: Disconnect said cable from the channels. Connect cable connector from a known good channel to the problem channel. If channel sounds the same trace a signal through the channel op-amps.
