Download files always corrupted

Good morning,
I have downloaded the " A100BtoothXP.exe" file from the "Download Centre" many times on 3 different computers.
The original zip file is clearly corrupted. Where else can I get a copy please.

To check this out I have downloaded other files which are OK.

Many thanks
Robin Cullen

    Thaks.
    File is http://203.56.127.6/driver_download/Publ..." target="_blank" rel="nofollow" >A100BtoothXP.exe
as specified above. This is the current bluetooth stack for Portege A100.

    Hi Map9966,
I really appreciate you putting your time to this issue. I went to that link, and found it was the same page and file I had been downloading from before. I thought great, maybe its fixed - tried again and got the same message "Zip file is truncated, damaged, or has been changed since it was created. If you downloaded this file, try downloading again"

I have downloaded at least 10 copies - all failed. Never have failure with other downloads.

  • rcull999 Feb 23, 2008

    Thanks again.

You said "It's only 800kb file name A100160110.exe"

Sorry if I am just showing my ignorance but previously you said "Started the file A100BtoothXP.exe" - this was the file I thought I needed and it is 9.79 Mb.
My email is rcullen@netserv.net.au - please tell me what to do with your file if it will not be obvious.

I tried the site you listed & it said Session Closed. Did another search with another search engine & got a hit.
http://www.isd.toshiba.com.au/71/live.dll/topic/content/driver_search_list.jsp?theAction=true&CATOID=-15058&MODE=NPRO&ProductMenu_0=Notebooks&ProductMenu_1=Portege&ProductMenu_2=347755&x=9&y=8
Started the file A100BtoothXP.exe & it uncompressed to a floppy disk I put in my drive. Listed are the names of the files.
BIO0001J.COM 224kb 12/10/2003
CHGBIOSA.EXE 31kb 6/25/2003
CHGFIRMA.EXE 18kb 5/9/2003
EC81NOBB.BIN 128kb 5/27/2003
You might want to try the above link. The only thing I didn't is the flash program.
give it a try rcull999!

Download M100BtoothW98.exe It's the same size & when unzipped it also includes win2k. This should still work for you.

This can also mean the zip file is corrupted, but it looks like your download is in-complete, usually means there are more zipped files to complete the whole download, you could also try other zip prg's like winace, WinRAR and 7zip, if none of these work then try to download from elsewhere.

I got problem on SoundMAX.dll error

The missing dll SoundMAX.dll is the dynamic link library module of Staccato Systems SynthCore 3 Library software program.

The dll file as well as the included Staccato Systems SynthCore 3 Library program is produced by Staccato Systems.

SoundMAX.dll is an important component for the program and in the case it is corrupt or not found you can get Windows problem warnings similar to; "SoundMAX.dll is deleted" or "Staccato Systems SynthCore 3 Library failed to start because SoundMAX.dll is not found".

To fix the error, you need to replace the corrupted or missing SoundMAX.dll file with a working one.

The current version of dll file available on our site is 3.0.0.0 with a size of 1008 kb.

You may download the file for legally licensed software only.

You can download SoundMAX.dll for free by clicking the link below.

After you download the file, unzip it to Windows system directory ("Windows/System32" for

Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7). You can use Winzip or Winrar to extract files.

Press "Start" and select "Run".

Type CMD and press Enter.

Type regsvr32 *dllfilename* and press enter again.

Download SoundMAX.dll v3.0.0.0

Please note : No guarantees or warranties are given or implied.

Please download and install the file at your own risk.

Always take a backup of the original file in case something goes wrong

hope this helps

I havent got any sound drivers and want to download them for free

1) Go to the toshiba support site for these notebooks:
http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=DL&os=&category=&moid=2041070&rpn=PSLB1U&modelFilter=L300-EZ1004V&selCategory=2756709&selFamily=1073768667

2) On page 3 of the downloads, second link from the top is a sound driver. Click on the link.

3) A frame will pop up with a link to "Download Now"

4) Download the installer to your computer and follow the directions.

Enjoy!

It keeps freezing and i have reset it several times and it just freezes

Your computer may be freezing because it probably doesn't have enough RAM, since it is a netbook. Try not to open too many programs at once, because that will make a computer with a low amount of RAM freeze. Hope that helps.

I have a problem with my hpdv5 1205tx my current windows is vista i repormat in windows 7 now my problem is my digital personel fingerprint was not connected i already down digital personel 4.11 help me...

If you have installed either 64 bit or 32 bit, then you have to run the installation as administrator.

To do this, just right click on the installation file and choose run as administrator.

If this did not help, refer the below steps:

  • Download version 2.01 of DigitalPersona software
  • Install on existing system
  • Export data
  • Boot into Win7
  • Install 2.01
  • Reboot
  • Reset properties for each of 7 EXE files
  • Reboot
  • Register a finger print
  • Import data saved in step 3

  • Download from here:

    http://download.cnet.com/DigitalPersona-Password-Manager/3000-18501_4-201746.html

    Step 3:

Export is available as an icon choice in the system tray. Save to a file for use in Step 10.

    Step 7:

The run properties for each of the 7 EXE files in the DigitalPersona install need to be adjusted. The files are:
    DPAgnt.exe
    DPConsol.exe
    DPExpImp.exe
    DpFpLogonManager.exe
    DpHost.exe
    DPRunDll.exe
    DPWinLct.exe

Select each and set as follows:
    • Compatibility tab
    • Press ã¢â‚¬å“Change settings for all usersã¢â‚¬â
    • Select run in Vista mode
    • Select run at admin near bottom
Repeat for each of the 7 EXE files.

    Nnags.

How do I start the webcam - does it have to be linked to a specific app, i.e. Skype, or can it be started independently? Thanks

Let me assist you in this regard.

This issue could be due to below reasons:
    1. Corrupted Wireless drivers.
    2. Corrupted BIOS.
    3. Defective wireless adapter.

Before confirming, I request you to perform the below steps to isolate the issue.

Step 1: Update BIOS from the below softpaq:

    ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp38001-38500/sp38173.exe

    Installation Instructions
    1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.
    2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

Step 2: Uninstall and reinstall the wireless drivers as follows:
    1. Click Start, Control Panel, Performance and Maintenance, and then System icon.
    2. This opens the System properties window.
    3. Select Hardware tab and click Device Manager.
    4. Click "+" beside network tab.
    5. Select the wlan and right click on it.
    6. Click Uninstall and restart the Notebook.
Now reinstall the drivers from the below softpaq:

    ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp36501-37000/sp36542.exe
    Installation Instructions
    1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.
    2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
NOTE: After the files are unpacked, the Setup program runs automatically. If
the setup program (Setup.exe) needs to be run manually, look for it in the
    download directory.

If the issue still persists, it could be due to defective wireless adapter. I suggest you to perform the below step to confirm the issue.
    Remove and reseat wireless adapter:
To get the step by step instruction how to remove and reseat wireless adapter please go through the bellow URL:
    http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01095493.pdf
    Please refer page number:35 and 36 (44 of 122)
