Re: lost installation disk
You can go to your manufacturer's website and download the driver's needed for the item.. reboot and then plug it in and see if it reads it.. sometimes you have to manually extract those files first so be sure to try that too... hope that helps..d

write to manufacturer, find someone who has a similiar player/ same manufacturer, difernt model, ask for copy of their install cd (not every model needs a new driver), try runnig that install or google awhile/ see the manufacturers homepage for driver-support, but choose the right OS(win2000, win-xp) u use on your computer
The install disk is just a cd that installs windows media player in case you don't already have it. instead..just connect the mp3 player directly to the computer. Then go to my computer and drag and drop it into a new folder. But if you still just want the windows media player, then you can download it from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/10/default.aspx. I hope this helped you.
really u dont need the disk all u do is plug it in and it mit come up and say found new hardware and let a thing come up and install the hardware. The disk is just to install windows media player 10 do it off the internet try it out
