Possible your outlet filter is blocked. This requires cleaning depending on your usage. Clean this out and refit. Good luck. Plug off the wall first.

THANK YOU. for those of you with a screw driver, here are the photos on how to.
It takes a philips screw driver and 20 minutes. The white screws may not align perfectly but don't worry, just get them to go back in the hole(no harm done).
I'm going to admit it was my wife that found this fix, so now I give the step by step photos.
Small white screws (3 in total)
cover "falls" off
Unscrew the lint trap (turn to the left)return when clean to hand tight

SOURCE: Washing Machine Will not Spin
Every one needs to know that the expensive parts are under warranty for ten years the outer drum front and rear, the pulley, the inner drum. GE sent me all four parts retail value 1200.00 on their web site, got them today. Before I under take this project I am wondering if any one know if the drum seal the giant O ring ( the one between the two halves) should be replaced or can the old one be used?

One common problem area is the clutch assembly. The clutch is built on top of the motor, the motor drives the clutch and the clutch assembly drives the rest of the washer. The clutch gets very noisy when parts inside are worn out. The shoes lining that drives the inner drum of the clutch wear off and you will get a metal on metal sound. Clutches often can be rebuilt, but sometimes they are too worn and replacing the whole clutch is the best repair. Please use this link here for clutch replace and repair info. The belt and pump may be the next items to check for noises. How to access the washer. Clutch repair help.

you will need to open up the front panel and remove the hose on the pump sounds like an obstruction in pump.To do that you must use a puddy knife and push it inbetween the top panal and body of washer on both right and left side. Then pull paneloff. You will see the pump on the bottom right side there are 2 hoses on there pump remove both and see if there is somthing stuck in there.
