Question about Insignia Televison & Video
I hate to be the one to break this to you, but there is very little 1080p content available to be viewed on your television. Telus TV outputs only 720p or 1080i video, so you are getting the best available picture already. The exception is Blu-ray, where almost all content is played at 1080p if you use an HDMI cable.

Run your component cables through component 1 and hit the comp yellow key on your remote. If you have an HD channel broadcasting it should come over in 1080i
