Question about Epson Stylus C84 InkJet Printer
I have put in all new color cartridges and run the nozzle check and head cleaning procedures. Black aligns properly both horizontal and vertical. The vertical color blocks all aligned except for one which would not change even after numerous realignments. The horizontal color shows a green line through the blue blocks. All seven blocks are just alike, there is no variation at all, even after several realignments. I have shut off the printer for 15 to 20 minutes and tried to realign the horizontal color, but the results are the same.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated
(btw - I use the printer daily and have had it for about a year and a half.)
Green color means that there is contanimation from the blue and yellow inks. Try to look inside the printer to where the printhead rests when not in use and see if there is alot of ink there. There may be green ink on the sponge there that may be attaching itself to the bottom of the printhead.
Hope this helps!
