You failed to include the model number of your unit. However, here is a link to the Garmin Nuvi 205. (Click here and see page 35 of the manual for language instructions as it may be the same)
http://www8.garmin.com/manuals/2675_OwnersManual.pdf

If you need additional assistance, just send me a note in the 'comments box' below and include your model number.

If this helped, please rate my answer with a big thumbs-up. Thanks!

Want to choose english language

Select settings, on the apps page, scroll down to language etc. and hit, select the language you want, presumably English, then try the phone. or tablet. The machine will now be in English. If you then reset it will probably go back to the language in which you got the phone so do not do it!

How do i change language? accidently hit wrong button when starting camera

Press the Menu button. Select Setup (the wrench icon, or else the last item). Select Language (either the waving flag icon, or else "xxx/Language" where xxx is Language in whatever language is currently selected. No matter the language, it should still say "Language" in English after the slash. In that menu, each language is labeled in that language, so you should see "English" as one of the options. Select that, and everything should be back in English.

  • Connected. Eject before disconnecting
  • Sync in Progress. Please wait...
  • Do not disconnect

Note: When you reset your iPod, all your music and data files are saved, though you may need to reset some customized settings.
