The best way is to buy a wire harness tomatch your cars then all you do is match the colours from the wire harness provided and the one for your car but if you do the wir cutting method then
Yellow is your constant wire
Red is your accessory wire
Bllack is ground after that there will be a orange wir e that is optional hook up to run the sterio with the dash dimmer 2-3 blue wires which you can use for AMP remote wire or elctronic Antena

then there are the White and white with black stripe
Green and green with black strip
Purple " "
Grey " "
are your 2 front and 2 rear speakers
which go where i always for get but when your installing the sterio you can set the sterio to run frount let and then hook the wiers for that speaker up when you fin the right one

Just installed the deck and it works but there isnt any sound

Assuming you have checked the obvious mute button, all aftermarket decks have a ground fault system integrated. If one of the leads to the speaker wires is touching ground, then it will shut off all outputs to the speakers. This is easily checked with a volt meter or a speaker itself, whichever is more readily available. Disconnect all wiring for the speakers you just hooked up and simply hook up only one speaker to any of the sound outputs. Do not let the other leads touch anything. Turn on the radio and if it works, you need to chase a speaker wire that is touching ground, plug in one at a time and go from there.

I hooked everything up but it only turns on constantly i cant get it to turn of with the rest off the car

you need to know which wire is your constant (+) supply and which is the switcheable (+) Connect the yellow wire from the deck to the constant + and the red from the deck to the switcheable + power as the red is you on off and the yellow is your memory. Sounds like you almost have it right-just need to find a switcheable power supply for the red .

I hooked up my jvc kd-avx11 and i had power to open and close

check to be sure the deck has 12v+ switched to the red wire, 12v+ constant to the yellow wire, and that the black is grounded well.. If all of that is correct, you are probably looking at a unit in need of repair.

I need to know how to wire my deck.

buy a toggle switch
run a wire from the red wire located at the back of deck
to the deck and toggle switch (power to power on toggle switch)
do the same with the ground wire (black) (ground to ground on toggle switch) (make sure to follow logos on toggle switch)
finally install e brake wire to center pin on toggle switch
now you can watch make sure toggle switch is on
if this didn't work switch the e brake wire and black wire on toggle switch
good luck hope i helped
