My car is overheating big time, the only way it stops is when i put antifreeze in the car. But then the car leaks antifreeze when i put it in. And it starts all over again.

where is it leaking from. the answer is fix the leak. a car is not suppose to leak antifreeze and you will destroy your engine if you run it hot, so , fix the leak.

My car started overheating. I was almost out of antifreeze, but my reserve tank still had antifreeze. Put a sealant in the radiator believing there was a leak, as well as the 50/50 mix, but it still ran...

Not likely water pump unless pump is leaking. You need to figure out where the antifreeze leaked out. Can you see anything leaking with radiator full and engine running? I have some tips at http://www.fixya.com/cars/r5929960-s_thermostat if you want to troubleshoot. Let me know if you have questions.

Overheated yesterday put antifreeze in bc it was almost empty did fine now its overheated again

Well Shelly the antifreeze is exiting the cooling system through a leak somewhere. Pouring more antifreeze in is not going to fix the leak. Often the leak is external to the engine and you can see a big puddle form on the ground where the car sits, common examples are burst hoses, leaking radiator, and a leaking heater core can create a wet mess on the passenger side floor. Other leaks such as bad gaskets and cracks in the head and block can cause the antifreeze to leak into the cylinders and lubrication system. First you must find out where the antifreeze is being lost, then figure out if the repair is worth it.

I have a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon that is overheating. How can I tell if I have a bad water pump or if it could be the thermostat. Does not appear to be a radiator leak or hose leak, but I am constantly...

If it's overheating it will lose antifreeze.I would change the thermostat first and see it it solves the overheating problem if not then worry about the water pump. Thermostats are only $7-10.

Leaking antifreeze

the location of the leak needs to be identified. it could be as simple as a hose or a leak in the block. sounds like you need to find a trusted technician to find the source of the leak and repaired before it causes more substancial damage.

Anti freeze all over the place

it could be antifreeze that was on the frame after changing the radiator the best way to tell is run car through a car that has the bottom wash or in a self wash and on... rinse... spray the area around radiator ...then check again later for antifreeze on ground
