I recently came across one of these odd little cases. There is a plastic tab under the front panel of the case. Push the tab in with a screwdriver, and pull the bottom of the front of the case out away from the case. The entire front/side case will hinge upwards, and come off.

And good luck on the power supply, it looks to be proprietary on this case.

Do you have a latch on the back? If so, pull it and your systems protective covers will fall to the ground! If not, you will have to unscrew one of the side panels.

I am not responsible for any damage done.

Justice password journal low batteries

I used a set of cutting pliers and lifted the back two rivets off. Then i gently peeled the paper up and slid a knife under the strap that was glued down. Replaced the batteries, put the rivets back in and used a small screw driver to mesh the strap back on the rivets. Lightly re-glued the strap and scotch taped the paper back on. Back in business, made one girl happy!

Starting capacitor failed. Replaced it and found new capacitor getting very hot. Does anybody know if this is a capacitor start or permanent split cap electric motor? No easy way to open the motor case to...

hi, more than likely a psc motor on a `small pressure washer.
The usual problems with the capacitors failing is down to a poor power supply, wether it be using a long extension lead of too small a size, or the power supply itself.
check voltage to machine while using it, a voltage drop will cause characteristics of motor to change, phase angles etc..
A refrigerator starting relay would not have the required amperage ratings for a pressure washer..
hope this helps , andy

My computer makes noise when i turn on it

There could be many different things. One could be the computer fans, second could be the hard drive going bad, third would be the floppy drive doing a start up test (don't have to worry about that one) Check the fans first they are the easiest to troubleshoot.

I wntt to access the power supply fan on my cq2009f desktop. I can remove one side and the front but it appears that I need to remove the rest of the case and this looks like it is riveted to the chassis....

If you want to remove / replace the fan you will need to completely remove the power supply box from the computer case.

There should be 4 screws on the back panel of the case holding the power supply box in place.

Unplug the computer power cord and monitor cable from the back.

Open the computer case and disconnect all the cables from the power supply to the components and motherboard (be sure to keep track of what goes where).

Hold / support the power supply box inside the case while you remove the four screws from the back so it doesn't fall down and break something on your motherboard.

Once you have the power supply box out of the computer case, you will need to remove the 4 additional screws holding down the power supply box cover. Once the cover is removed you will see and be able to remove the power supply circuit board and the fan if you want.

Good luck and please comment back if this was helpful.

You can conveniently crack open the case without tools by swinging open the door that covers the front bezel, using your fingers to untwist a setscrew that lies underneath, then sliding off the side panel

There should be at least 4 more larger screws, maybe even "thumb screws", that will have to be removed as well. These screws hold the sides of the case on. Try removing those and sliding the sides back to open up the case

Remove cabinet to get to hard drive

There should be 2 thumbscrews on the back part of the case where the side panel would slide back and off. On some other cases, there is a button on the bottom you need to press to have the side panel swing open.
