Nah. I mean the location of the cursor is never under my pen tip. It is to the left and up from my pen location by a few inches each. Like three inches to the left and two inches up from my pen tip. It only happens in photoshop.

I am using windows 7 32bit on a tecra m4. The stylus is not the origional stylus either. I got a wacom stylus seperately.

Third one is a guide from Adobe

·Open "My Computer." In Windows XP, the icon is on the desktop. In Windows Vista or Windows 7, you must access this via the "Computer" option in the Start menu.
·Double-click the "C" drive, followed by the "Windows" folder inside. Locate the temporary Photoshop folder, which will look similar to this: "Photoshop Temp6382948398." Double-click the folder when you find it.
·Locate the file inside the temporary folder that matches the name of the corrupted file. Double-click it to open it in Photoshop.
· Click "Save As" in the "File" portion of the main menu bar. Save it in a different location and under a different name

Tip

Remove complicated backgrounds from images using Adobe Photoshop

If you are a Professional user and can afford it I would use the Primatte Chromokey from Digital Anarchy it excels at removing just about any background even from flyway strands of hair.

9dbbf34.jpg

Try the demo version first then decide v3.0 now costs $299 (£198)

If you can't afford it and you have only a two-tone background use either Photoshop's own extract filter on CS2 version that does a good job about 70% removal, you will need to use paths and selections to remove the rest.

OR this method below really does work.

1. Open your image
2. Double Click your background layer.
3. Press Ctrl+Shift+N to make new layer.
4. Fill the new layer with any color you like.
5. Move your 'layer 0' up, so now 'layer 0' is on the top layer
6. Make selection with pen.
7. Press Ctrl+Enter to make selection.
8. Click ad mask layer icon.
9. Ctrl+J to duplicate the layer
10. Click the mask icon.
11. Ctrl+i to invert the mask selection.
12. Click your mask icon on the layer palette.
13. Brush with black.
14. Click your 'layer 0' mask icon.
15. Brush with white to reveal the image.
16. Use shift to Select the two layer.
17. Ctrl+G to group it

Other Masking Plugins for Photoshop

You can also create a fairly decent removal using Extensis Mask Pro it has a great interface and makes short work of any complex masking situation its easier to use than the Primatte Chromokey and is just as good if not better than Procreate Knockout

How to use the downloaded Brush?

Take your brush file, go to your C:\ drive (or wherever Photoshop is installed), find Program Files, click on that folder, then look for the Adobe folder, click on it, look for Photoshop CS3, click on it, look for Presents, click it, then clock on brushes and put your brush file in there. Volia.

Using Photoshop CS3 for Windows, many of my tools have stopped working (brushes, cloning, erasers, blur/sharpen etc). It behaves like it is responding (ex: what I try to do shows up in the history pane),...

Try a uninstall, then a clean reinstall. Perhaps install just PS and none of the other apps. I had a problem with Bridge not starting and our IT guy removed a ton of prefs and temp files, it seemed to help, maybe it would work for PS too. Don't ask em where they are all stored though. You might go through and remove any junk you are not using anymore either. You might also try creating a new user for the computer and opening PS in that user. If it works, something is gumming up the works in your other user.
Last measure: whipe the hard drive and start clean... very last step that is.

Photoshop 7.0 fails to load

You may need to uninstall photoshop and reinstall it. This should solve the problem.

Large number of registry entires are created during a program installation. A corruption to any of this will result in the above stated problem.
