Question about Acer ScanWit 2720S Film Scanner
I have a ACER Scanwit 2720S film scanner which connects to my PC via a SCSI card installed in my PC. The drivers are only maintained up to Windows XP so probably excludes any option to change my PC to Windows 7 machine.
Can I get a convertor to connect the SCSI 25 pin output from the scanner to USB. And will I need some alternative S/Ware?
SCSI to USB converters are available, but I doubt they will be of much help for you, you'd still need a special driver for your scanner.
Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate support "XP Mode", essentially a Windows XP environment running in a virtual machine. I'd try to get the SCSI interface card and scanner to run inside the VM as a workaround.
