Question about Kodak Cameras
The curtain getting stuck is often caused by dust, or sometimes by factory defect.
The repair is not too difficult, but it still involves taking part of the lens assembly apart. This will invalidate the one year factory warranty.
Since the camera is under warranty, I suggest to take battery out, replace them with fresh and tested batteries, and testing again. This is one of the few maintenance procedures that will not nullify the warranty.
If that does not work, call Kodak and ask them how to validate the warranty to have the camera repaired. Kodak number is written on the owners manual or available here:KODAK: Contact Kodak
