Thanks for using FixYa. The problems you are facing are due to gear case, from where the washer is leaking oil. And due to that the washer tub has become unbalanced and you are getting weird noise. Run a mini-cycle to rebalance the load. However, in this case the load can't be balanced as the transmission oil is leaking and due to this it may have happen that drive coupler between the motor and transmission is broken and needs to be replaced.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

2007 Explorer XLT. Just had the oil changed and they showed me a loose washer in the oil pan. I haven't had any issues with knocking or other weird noises. What might this washer be?

Why was the oil pan removed for a oil change there is no need for that
the only washers on the bottom of the engine are the pickup union bolts and the crankshaft and connecting rod bearing caps

My truck is making a weird noise by the left front tire and it looks like something is leaking

Near the front wheel could be brake fluid or shock fluid or if it's a front wheel drive could be a CV joint leaking oil.
Get someone to help look for which it is.
Hope this helps.

Loud noise during the spin cycle

Did you have an oil leak at the bottom of the washer? If yes, chances are your transmission oil leaked and your transmission needs changing or repairing.

Car made weird noises and then shut off while driving now wont even turn over

If the engine wont turn over after weird noises you may have seized the engine from over heating or lack of oil. Check for water in the radiator and oil in the sump. and if you are missing either then a replacement engine is the go

The check engine light stays on after oil change. When you apply the brakes the steering wheel vibrates and there is a weird humming type noise coming from the rear while idling.

Hope the oil filter was changed and with the OE type and the correct oil grade.
If so the oil pressure switch can be clogged and so produce the check engine light.
When applying brakes the steering vibrates as it can be due to faulty linkages in steering column, problem in the hydralics pump or fault in the steering rod bearings.
finally the weird noise from rear can be from a faulty exhaust , leak or poor joint in the exhaust or vibration of the exhaust with loose mountings.

Engine is making a weird noise and it smells like burning oil.

I can help if you can describe the noise. Is it rattling, knocking, clicking? I would check the oil level and make sure you have the proper level. Also look for leaks.
