A selector knob is a very common part. You should be able to order on line at any of the follwoing websites:

searspartsdirect.com
pcappliancerepair.com
appliancepartspros.com
repairclinic.com

All these sites are reputable and offer great service with competitive pricing. Shop and compare.

The first three sites on the list also include helpful exploded view parts illustrations to assist you in locating the parts you need. Ordering on line can save you a little from the retail mark up you find in parts stores.

If you do not wish to order on line, however, look up the part number on the Sears website since nearly all Sears washers are manufactured by Whirlpool. Take the part number to your nearest appliance parts retailer. This may be a part they carry in their in-store inventory (some selector knobs are commonly carried). If not, they would have to order it for you.

If you have any questions, please post back with your complete MODEL NUMBER (located on a nameplate along the wash tub rim on a TOP LOADER and around the door facing on a FRONT LOADER). I hope this helps you.

Creda Oven Model ESO 210 broken multifunction selector knob

Same thing happened with my Creda ESO 210. The function selector works find. It just doesn't rotate the piece of plastic that has the funtion symbols on it. I contacted the authorised parts supplier in Canada and was told it would cost $90 for the part. After a long wait, the part arrived and it wasn't the correct piece (they'd ordered the little plastic circle with the function symbols on it instead of the knob thingee that moves it). So, if that cost $90, I dread to think what the broken mechanism would cost. So, I gave up and I simply count the clicks from the off position to use my oven. However, if you really want to follow up on this, you can contact www.creda.co.uk.

Knob for settings is broke

Hi,
If the actual centre is ok that drives the selector, then you just need a new knob for it. Thesec are available from online apliance centres.

If it is the actual mechanism that is broken, then this part is quite expensive - so shop around before you buy.

How to remove the washer cycle selection/start-stop knob on a Whilpool Heavy Duty Thin Twin stacked washer dryer

I believe the selector knob on a Whirpool just has to be turned counter-clockwise with the selector pushed in. It will spin off the shaft and then the outer indicator dial will pull off. The shaft also has a keyed slot that will only allow the dial to be removed and installed one way, so there should be no question as to how it goes back on.

Was there a reason as to why you are removing the washer selector knob? If this is a simple matter of replacing a broken water temperature selector, you shouldn't have to remove any of the control knobs to gain access to the selector. The entire front panel comes off by removing the screws holding it in place. That way you can access the broken selector from behind the front panel much easier. Just remove the panel right above the washer top (under the dryer) and it should expose the front panel mounting screws. Remove these screws and the front panel comes off. Just make sure the unit is unplugged before you begin. I hope this helps you. Let me know if you need further assistance.

Program selector know is broken

First thing i would do if it is not selecting a different cycle is take the knob off and check to if the inside of the knob is broken and hust turning on the shaft, other then that it proberly is electronic replacement.
