Question about Acer TravelMate 4101WLMi Notebook
I do not recommmend using hibernation. I do know why they made this because it messes up everyones computer that uses that option. Go to control panel, display option, screen saver, then power options. Turn OFF hibernation, then just set your screen and Hard discs to turn off when you want them too. You do not need hibernation enabled to use these other options.

Check whether you have free space available for hibernate as mentioned in hibernate options in power settings. Also check whether any BAD sectors are there in HDD. run chkdsk /f in command line Or run scandisk.

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including
the leads from your ((motherboard to

faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error hope this helps
