Question about Televison & Video
When inserting a DVD into the integrated player of the TV, the noise the disc makes when spinning sounds as though it is spinning slower than normal, and then we get a 'No Disc' Message in the top left of the screen
The problem sounds like the spindle motor is about to go out completely. If a disc does not spin or does not spin at it's proper speed the optical lens reading laser can not read the disc and you get a "no disc", or "disc not recognized" error message. On average a dvd will spin 3 times faster than a regular cd will. The following pictures will show you what these components look like.
Check around your local area to find what a service technician will charge to replace the part. On average it will usually cost between $60-90 dollars most of which is labor.
I hope this gives you some idea of what the problem is and how to solve it.
If you would not mind, please rate my help. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you
