Question about Zebra LP 2844 Thermal Printer
I have downloaded the UPS drivers and installed them. I have downloaded the drivers from zebra.com and installed those.
I can't get my printer to print anything from notepad or Paypal.
(That is what I use to print USPS shipping labels)
It has worked before the computer was repaired and restored to factory settings. I can not find the proper settings or Drivers
None of the usb ports show up under the "Add printer" installation when I must select a port to use.
Add the printer as a Local LPT1. Then go into the properties and switch the port to a USB port. Try a test label. If it doesn't print, go back to properties of the printer and switch it to another USB until it does. If all else fails there is a remove utility included with the Zebra drivers you downloaded. You can remove all zebra related drivers and printers and then reboot. The PC should redetect the printer when you turn it on.

Are you sure that the page size is wrong, or are you just guessing because of the way that the label is printing? I would uninstall the driver - delete the printer from printers and faxes and remove the driver from Server Properties (in the file drop down in Printers and Faxes). Go to ups.zebra.com/ctp and get the latest driver - you have to have the UPS version of the driver in order to support pass-through printing. Go into your UPS Ship Asst application and make sure that the generic thermal is not checked.
