Hello

Make sure TV is on the correct channel or input. Check the cables for correct routing from TV to any other devices. Check cables to ensure they are tight and secure.

An analog signal converted to high defintion resolution will cause lines, blurriness or fuzziness in the picture. Change the resolution to a lower or native setting using the media device (cable box, DVD,). This may be an issue that requires a service call to cable provider.

A problem on one channel may just be a error on that channel. If using an antenna, it might need to be adjusted in order to ensure good signal strength. For digtal channels, go into TV Menu. Check the DTV signal. Weak signal can cause picture distortion.

If another device is being used such as a cable box, DVD player or VCR switch between devices and test picture. Check routing of cables that are used to control the image. This should be a series of red, white and yellow cables.

If a VCR with a cable box, make sure the VCR and TV are set to the correct channels for video signal to pass through. If problem is still occuring, try another set of cables. bad cables can cause picture distortion.

Bad cables can cause picture distortion as well. Try another set of cables. If picture is better than when using the cables replaced, this was the issue. If cables are not an issue TV may require service.

My screen on my nes is blurry how can i fix that

If your screen shows a blurry image it can be a few possible things (and only these things).

1. The first and most obivous problem is being on the wrong channel - for example, if you are on Channel 3, but the switch on the back of your system is set to channel 4, you'll see a VERY fuzzy picture; simple switch to the other channel and it will come in clear.

2. Now...assuming you are on the correct channel, does your television receive other pictures clearly (for example if you change to a normal broadcasting station and it is still blurry, then it is a problem with your TV and not your NES system). Another way to test is to simply switch TVs and see if the same picture problem occurs.

If 1 and 2 are not the problem, them we know the problem is with your NES system and this should be an easy fix.

If you are using an RF Switch, then it is most likely the pin on either end of the switch has become bent (or was bent and now is bent back) and will no longer give a clear picture. The easiest way to test this is find a set of AV cables (any av cables - these are the red, white, and yellow cables that often hook DVD players to television). Find a set and just take one of those ends and connect it to the side of the NES system into the circle that says VIDEO and take the other end of that same color and put it into your TV into the circle that says VIDEO (note that the colors don't always match up on the newer TVs, just make sure that if you are using the yellow end of the AV cable and plug it into the video on the NES that you plug the other yellow end of the av cable into whatever color on the TV says VIDEO! Then change your tv to the cannel for that AV slot (usually AV 1 or INPUT 1). Turn the nintendo back on and see if the picture comes through clearly - if it does, it means you had a bad RF switch and you can either get a new one, or just use AV cables instead!

One of the above problems IS the problem - I've repaired over 1000 NES systems and 95% of the time it's just a bad RF switch (so the AV cable test works best)

When I play Halo 3 it turns green. and other games get blurry in background, I just bought Fable 2 and I cant play that because it is too blurry, its not a scratched disc, and I rmoved dust in my 360

Hi,

you may have a faulty AV lead, from xbox to TV.
or the graphics chip is failing, if you have a composite lead ( red-white-yellow-green-blue ) check that the switch is set to hdmi correctly. this is on the side of the oval connector from xbox outlet to tv lead.
try tuning into a different tv channel, check that the lead isn,t broken internally.
If this does not work, assume that the GPU Or graphics chip has come loose, and obtain A RROD repair kit.

No picture yet i can hear sound green effect before it happend

First thing would be to make sure that you're only using the yellow, red, and white cables, but seeing as how you said you had picture before, I'm guessing that's not the problem. The 360 uses an automatic recognition for the hardware to make sure that it is set to the right input. So, in essence, it won't be that the settings were changed. I would say go pick up a new cable and see if that's the problem, it sounds like it is. If the cable doesn't solve it then I would say it's time to call Microsoft. For the guest with nothing working, call up Microsoft, I really don't know what else the problem could be except for hardware.

HDTV problem

You should test the TV set using a known good source such as a DVD player with RGB outputs to drive the set. If it is good, then this rules out the TV set from being at fault.

From experience, many times I found compatiblity issues between computers and TV sets. The computer's resolution and refresh rate must be set exactly to the TV's capability.
