Go to www.grisoft.com , and look for the FREE Antivirus, download it, install, and run it FULL TIME.

NEVER turn it off.

Also get Spybot, adaware, and any other anti malware you can find.

JUST DO NOT HAVE 2 ANTIVIRUS PROGRAMS INSTALLED as they WILL conflict with each other. Spyware scanners are OK, and you can have as many as you want.

Also get a GOOD Firewall. I use Zonealarm

Whenever I connect any removable drive automatically 4 shortcuts got created of control panel.

You have a virus on your PC. Unfortunately, once you have this virus, it usually does not help updating your anti virus and running a scan since the virus is running in the memory of the PC and every infected file the anti virus removes - the virus just puts back again. Try one of two things to remove the virus:

1] First update your anti virus (if you dont have an anti virus, download the free AVG Antivirus and install that and then update it. Click here to go to AVG's website. Once installed - Boot your pc into SAFE MODE. This is VERY important otherwise the virus will load into memory and it wont help running the anti virus to clean the system as the memory resident virus will just replace any infected file that is removed by the scan. To boot your PC into safe mode: Read this article: Click here.

Once you are in safe mode - Open the Anti-virus console and do a complete system scan.

2] Remove the infected hard drive from your PC and install it as a secondary drive in a clean, VIRUS PROTECTED PC!!! ... i.e .. any pc that has the latest anti-virus system installed and is up to date!. Once you have installed the infected drive in the protected PC as a secondary drive, run a scan on the infected drive and remove the virus.

Once you have removed the virus, also scan ANY USB devices on that PC, including any Cameras, cellphones, photo frames, etc that you might have plugged into the infected PC.

Good luck

Very slow computer

First of all take an Anti virus and thoroughly clean your computer of Viruses because the Viruses can make your computer very slow. If you do not have an anti virus you can download free edition of AVG anti virus from the following link.
http://free.avg.com/ww-en/download-avg-anti-virus-free
Then take a good Registry cleaner. They are many registry cleaners being sold on the internet. Pick a good one and clean your registry it will add extra speed to your computer operation.

My pc contamenate af assorted virus, what will i

reinstall the operation system cause once contaminated ...there is no antivirus available to clean it ...and if it does usually you will end up with side effects like missing files from the system ( strictly necessary files for proper function )..
the viruses usually attack functionality related files and so ...you have to reinstall and format the C drive (partition ) during the operation ...so to be sure you end up clean ...and after that get an anti-virus ..even a free one it is a kinda protection ...I recommend AVG free..its a pretty good one ..and it updates itself daily
even in the free version..

Not familair with the yaabaa virus/spyware but usually this error is because your av got rid of the infection but didn't clean up the registry entry. So windows tries to load it and can't find the file so shows the error. So AVg killed it but it didn;t clean up afterwards.

Need c-d to clean of virus

Download these two spyware/antivirus free programs and then run them one at a time to clean up your system. They are free and excellent programs. A-Squared and Malwarebytes are both free. Google search for their web sites. Download and intstall them and be sure to update them both first and then run DEEP SCANS on both and they will clean and kill out all the internet garbage your system has and they are both free! Good hunting!

Is there a free virus scan and clean for the linspire 5 .0 ,

If its four year old , maybe the anti virus protection you already had on it , would have expired.

You can download or run free antivirus scans from the following websites

Computer freezes are usally generated by software. Suggest you de a few things.
1. You can run windows system restor back to a date the pc did not freeze.
2. Run a full system's virus scan. (make sure your virus software is up to date). Anti-virus software subcription no longer valid?
