I took the ball bearings out cause the case was broke now i cant get everything back together and to get the tire on so i can drive what should i do?

I assume you are talking about a wheel bearing. The ball bearings are usually part of a sealed bearing unit. If that is so, you'll have to get a whole new bearing cartridge, pull out the race (part of the shell) from the old one, and set the new bearing back in. Is this a front or rear wheel? Is the "case" the axle housing, or just the bearing shell?

If your problem is just holding ball or roller bearings in place for re-assembly in a non-cartridge bearing, use the old bicycle mechanic's trick: load up the bearing race with grease, stick the bearings into the grease, then assemble the journal/axle.

Need to replace wheel bearing hub kit on 2000 s-10 2wd. is it a kit or just a bearing? What are the steps?

The bearing is "pressed" into the hub/spindle. On the 4x4 model the wheel hub is bolted onto the spindle from the back (remove wheel, caliper and bracket, axle nut, 3 bolts on the back and tap out). On the 2 wd model, It'll have to be pressed out, and back in. Remove the wheel, caliper and bracket. Follow the ABS sensor wire to the inner frame rail in the engine compartment and unplug it (along with removing the bolted clip on the upper "A" frame). Separate the tie rod end, upper and lower ball joints (won't affect the alignment) and remove the spindle. If you can locate a used one you can have it ready to put back in immediately.

The blade falls off the bearings/guides

The blade is suppose to ride on the face of the bearing not the profile side. If you are looking at the bearing on a table flat with the hole in the middle, this would be the face. The blade makes slight contact with this bearing to back it up as it goes by. In other words the blade is not suppose to travel around the bearing as it spins. It is suppose to travel across the bearing. Take a look at the picture I drew below. Also review the instructions for the guide setup. You can view them online at :,28-206%2028-276.pdf Page 19 is the page with the guide setup.

We replaced the bearings in the wheel hub.. we took the tire off, the hub off, and replaced the bearing inside of it.. put everything back together and now the wheel wobbles while it is on the jack.. bout...

The bearing is a tapered bearing did you put it on the right way round so that the largest part of the bearing is at the back

That then matches the taper on the wheel hub

That is so you can wind in the castellated nut with a torque wrench to set the pressure of the bearing according to the manual
