I took the ball bearings out cause the case was broke now i cant get everything back together and to get the tire on so i can drive what should i do?

I assume you are talking about a wheel bearing. The ball bearings are usually part of a sealed bearing unit. If that is so, you'll have to get a whole new bearing cartridge, pull out the race (part of the shell) from the old one, and set the new bearing back in. Is this a front or rear wheel? Is the "case" the axle housing, or just the bearing shell?

If your problem is just holding ball or roller bearings in place for re-assembly in a non-cartridge bearing, use the old bicycle mechanic's trick: load up the bearing race with grease, stick the bearings into the grease, then assemble the journal/axle.

The front wheel bearings are not serviced separately. If the front wheel bearings are defective, the hub and bearing assembly must be replaced.
  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions in the beginning of this section.
  2. Lubricate the threads on the halfshaft with clean engine oil.
  3. Remove or disconnect the following:

Need to replace wheel bearing hub kit on 2000 s-10 2wd. is it a kit or just a bearing? What are the steps?

The bearing is "pressed" into the hub/spindle. On the 4x4 model the wheel hub is bolted onto the spindle from the back (remove wheel, caliper and bracket, axle nut, 3 bolts on the back and tap out). On the 2 wd model, It'll have to be pressed out, and back in. Remove the wheel, caliper and bracket. Follow the ABS sensor wire to the inner frame rail in the engine compartment and unplug it (along with removing the bolted clip on the upper "A" frame). Separate the tie rod end, upper and lower ball joints (won't affect the alignment) and remove the spindle. If you can locate a used one you can have it ready to put back in immediately.

The blade falls off the bearings/guides

The blade is suppose to ride on the face of the bearing not the profile side. If you are looking at the bearing on a table flat with the hole in the middle, this would be the face. The blade makes slight contact with this bearing to back it up as it goes by. In other words the blade is not suppose to travel around the bearing as it spins. It is suppose to travel across the bearing. Take a look at the picture I drew below. Also review the instructions for the guide setup. You can view them online at : http://www.dewaltservicenet.com/documents/English/Instruction%20Manual/Delta/A27894,28-206%2028-276.pdf Page 19 is the page with the guide setup.

wheel off remove the tin cap in the centure of the hub undo the big nut put the wheel back on with just 2 bolts finger tight so you can pull the hub off.once the hub is off take the 2 wheel bolts back out.now look in side the hub were the big nut was and you will see a sir clip take that out.then use a socket and a bench vice to press the old bearing out.use the socket and bench vice to put the new bearing back in.

We replaced the bearings in the wheel hub.. we took the tire off, the hub off, and replaced the bearing inside of it.. put everything back together and now the wheel wobbles while it is on the jack.. bout...

The bearing is a tapered bearing did you put it on the right way round so that the largest part of the bearing is at the back

That then matches the taper on the wheel hub

That is so you can wind in the castellated nut with a torque wrench to set the pressure of the bearing according to the manual

well you should replace both of rear wheel bearings. most likly if one gose the other is about to.
what you do is
NOTE your bearing might be pressed fit. if you can't remove by hand you are going to need a shop.

1- remove the wheel and brake assembly,
2-remove axle flange from hub
3- bearing should be easyly pulled out.
4- clean out all old grase
5-pack new bearing full of new greas.***MUST DO*** put greas in your hand and scrap greas into the bearing till it come out the top.(or use bearing packing tool)
6- put the rest of the greas into the bearing retainer and reinstall.
7- YOU MSUT pre load the bearing after you put the bearing in and bolt holding it in you must pre load to 40 in'lbs then back of and hand tighten (or go tight 1/4 past, then back of 1/2 then tighten buy hand.
