Question about Eureka Atlantis 2595A Upright Wet/Dry Vacuum

1 Answer

Water leak I just bought this steamer a few days ago, and already I am having problems, when I fill the water tank that your suppost to fill the water runs out before I even turn the machine on. I have tried using plugs to keep it from doing this just so I can shampoo my carpet, this seems to work to a point, considering the fact that there are two holes underneath close to the brushes and one just a little ways back from that location. Do you know if this is something that should have plugs or not,? It seems to me that it should.

I appericate your addvice but it's not that simple, bacuase I bought it second hand. So is there any thing else I can do to fix this problem myself, such as replacing seals or water lines, with out having to put it in the shop for repair. If this is possible than how do I go about doing so?

Water just pours out and soon as you sit in the machine until it is empty. I bought it used. Must be why they got rid of it. No attachements.

If you just pruchased this, then it is under warranty, take it along with proof of purchase to a warranty repair shop and have them fix it. If water just runs out, then there may be a seal missing or a water line off.

How to fix dirt ***** easy steamer deep cleaner, it is leaking water?

Hi there! Check the clean water tank valve to see if that is where the leak is coming from. If so, your clean water tank will need to be replaced. If the leak is coming from somewhere else we recommend taking the cleaner in to a Dirt Devil authorized service center for repair. I have included a link where you may locate the nearest service center to you. Hope this is helpful. If you still need assistance feel free to reach out to us here on Fixya, Facebook.com/dirtdevil or Twitter @DirtDevil.

There are a number of possibilities. I have this appliance and I'm not a fan of it!

  1. Check the water filter isn't void, which is behind the main water tank at the front. It should have a sandy colour to it and if it is low or discoloured, then it requires to be replaced.
  2. Fill the water tank with water and the back tank (if fitted) with clear "white" vinegar and switch on. If there is only one tank fill half with water and vinegar. Then press the trigger on the handle. If nothing comes out, You will need to buy a new water limescale filter which can be purchased from Vax UK.

Shark Euro Pro Steamer

Hi, you could try the following steps, if you have not done so already. Some of these steps may seem like common sense, but it's for people to forget about checking the least expensive part to replace first, so if some of the steps are those that you have already tried, then feel free just to skip through to the ones you have not tried already.
  1. 1
Make sure the power cord is plugged firmly into the outlet. The steam mop will not start if it the power cord is loose.
  2. 2
Check the fuse box or circuit breaker connected to the outlet the steam mop is plugged in to. Replace any blown fuses. Reset any tripped breakers.
  3. 3
Check the water tank if the Shark steam mop will not produce steam. Add water to the tank if it is empty. The mop will not make steam without water in the tank. To fill the tank, turn the tank cap counterclockwise and lift it up to remove it. Set the filling funnel into the tank opening. Pour water through the funnel into the tank until the water level reaches the "Max" fill line on the tank. Replace the cap.
  4. 4
Inspect the microfiber cleaning pad if the steam mop is leaving water on the floor. If the microfiber pad is too wet, it will leave water on the floor. Unplug the mop from the wall outlet. Replace the microfiber cleaning pad. To replace the pad, move the latch strips out of the hooks on the mop head. Pull the pad off. Set the new cleaning pad on the mop head. Hook the latch strips onto the hooks on the mop head.
  5. 5
Use distilled water if the steam mop is leaving white spots on the floor. Hard water may cause white spots to be left.
If none of the above work, then is it something that you purchased recently, and is new? If you did, then it could still be fixed under the manufacturer's warranty regardless of whether or not the original length of the warranty has expired. This could be due to the fact that you have received a product that has some sort of manufacturing fault, rather than it stop working through misuse by the user.
If it's a common problem, then you will more then likely be able to return it to the manufacturer and have it replaced for a new one, let alone repaired :-) - This only applies to whether or not the item is New though :-).
Hope this info helps

My steamer spits out water but not steam

It sounds like you may have mineral buildup in the system. You can try filling the water tank 2/3 with water and then filling it with white vinegar. Steam until the tank is empty. This should clean the buildup out of the machine.
By the way, Rather than just running the vinegar/water out, this solution is good for bathrooms, kitchens, sinks, showers, and windows.
Good luck!

Water leaking out from bottom of 7901

That part can go bad, but I have found more often the a water line came loose. Take out the 6 screw and the flow indictor cap, remove the top, then inspect that area. If you find what the problem is, fix it then when you put the top back on, make sure the piston is on the bottom of the smart mix valve and that the knob is in the water only spot, then push the top back on. If you need to replace the auto-load receiver, the part # is 2140710 and you can order from a local repair shop.
