Hello my tv won't work

no... the green power LED stay lit whenever the tv is plugged it... the TV itself does not power on. Pressing the power button on the TV or the remote does not do anything, the power LED stays lit. Unplugging the TV and plugging it back it at a later time does not work. Changing outlets does nothing.

** TV won't turn on.** No picture or sound. Please Help !

If the red light won't come on it is not getting power.First, try plugging it in to a different outlet,or unplug one of the gadgets you know is working and plug the tv in there. You are simply switching. If you know that there is power coming from the outlet and it still won't come on then you'll have to check the cord;don't go much farther than that without expert help.

I have a mitsubish tv model #52525 the time light is blinking and the tv won't come on

Hello,

Your power supply board is dead, do you know basic electronics' and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors. These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable, and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

I hope this will help to solve the problem.....

The tv wont power on at all

Hello,

Your TV Won't Turn On
If your TV won't turn on, you should check the power cord. Make sure that it is securely in the wall plug. Sometimes the power cord has burned out and needs to be replaced. You may also want to check the batteries in the remote to make sure that they are working properly. If otherwise
Common problem with this TV is the power supply module.
Check the power supply; look for bad caps with leaking/bulging tops, check to see if you have standby +5vdc at the power supply connector, the front red indicator will not be on if you do not have this +5vdc standby voltage due to shorted out power transistor and zener diode, if otherwise, Power supply board just die.It can be dead at anytime.Tries websites Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

I hope this will help to solve the problem.....

I have RED verticle lines all the way across the screen fro top to bottom 10 minutes after I turn my Panasonic PT-52LCX65 TV on. Is there a solution?

Hello
Check and replace the main filter capacitor in the power supply section. Replace all of them in the secondary section of the power supply too. The problem is due to insufficant smoothing and regulatio fo the power supply section. If main smoothing capacitor gets value deveoped, it won't supply enough voltage to the switching section, and switching section also will go inefficient. Replace all of them. It won't cost not much. OK.

Hello
If your RCA tv has locked or you want to reset your password you can opt any one of the followinf option to unlock it without any passcode nd can reset it after.

Most RCA TV sets use a four digit code to control the v-chip. The code reset is different depending on the model. Try each number until you find the one that works for you.

  2. Hold down the 0 (zero) button on the remote and the VOLUME DOWN button on the TV itself at the same time for at least 4 seconds. The set won

Had a power surge into the house- the tv was not on a surge protector and i am wondering if the tv is blown out- or is there a fuse possibly that blows at a power surge?

hello kath... if the tv won't come on now the power surge fried internal fuse and possibly more. The least expensive way to get this repair is to physically take the tv to the repair shop. If they have to make house calls, the cost goes up significantly. Joe

I won a rca scenium 52 inch hd tv.. i hit somthing on my remote and now i have a fuzzy scree. and dont know how to fix it.. i trouble shooted with dish network. they say it is my tv. but the dvd player is...

Hello. I do hope that you have gotten this resolved. But if not, here are some simple steps.

If you are at TV1, where the receiver box is located, the tv needs to be on channel 3 or 4. Depending on the cable that is running between the receiver and the tv, the tv may need to be on an input, such as video 1 or 2. If you are at the TV2 location, where there is no receiver, then the tv needs to be on channel 60 or 73.

If you are using an HDMI cable- the TV needs to be on an HDMI input
If you are using component cables-the TV needs to be on a component input usually
If you are using RCA cables-the TV usually needs to be on a VIDEO like Video 1 or2
If you are using coax cable-the TV needs to be just on channel 3 or 4.
