Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
This sound like intermittent connections form the G.P.U.
color feed data lines to the ANA/HANA (video chip driver)
This is normally accompanied by poor resolution ,dots , lines,
and finely 3 red lights
You have 2 viable options
1 Have a shop re-flow the G.P.U. and then properly clamp
it to the P.C. board .Cost will very 60.00-80.00.
and ask for their track record and if they replace with
the x clamp with screws and washers take your console
else where . The xclamp must be replaced with supporting
hardware. screws alone will flex and damage the P.C. board
2 do a conservative x clamp mod this will get your console
working but this type of repair normally last 2-5 months
3 And there always Microsoft but there repair service is sub-par for the price
if you have any questions feel free to ask
