Question about Whirlpool RBS305PDS Electric Single Oven
No u dont how is it going to read the temp for self clean. never heard of removing the temp probe. the things u remove are the oven racks

This indicates a failure in the temperature probe. This is easy to check and replace. Here is a link that will walk you thru checking and replacing an oven Temperature Sensor .If you need diagrams and illustrations of your specific model enter your model their.
