Question about LG GC900F Cell Phone

When I assign an image to a contact the image duplicates

When I assign an image to a contact it duplicates it in the My images folder. If I delete or move this duplicate, it removes from the contact it was assigned to. Is there any way of either stopping this duplication or deleting/moving it without it being removed from the assigned contact? Thanks

SOURCE: assigning a picture to a contact

All you need to do is change it so its either.. the contact is a SIM contact or.. umm ... i can't remember the name .. its under options but you can change it! I have the phone but right now mine has a broken L C D screen so i can't look to answer that 100%

But i figured it out after my brother gave me that phone - he said he couldnt do that but i figured it out in 10 minutes.

Something to do with when you make the contact you need to change it to either the SIM card or um.. i cant think of the other name butthere are several options for what you save it as.

If that helps!

How do I contact a live person to ask questions about my 4th gen iPad?

I am a live person and an iPad, iPhone expert. :>)

Your iPad contains a main album called 'All Photos', there are other Sub Albums, Favourites, People Places, Videos, Selfies, Panoramas, Bursts, Screenshots, Recently Deleted.

All images go into 'All Photos, they are sorted to make it easier for you to find images, but linking to them via the Sub-Albums. If you Delete from any of the Sub Albums, it also gets deleted from All Photos. If you delete from All Photos, it will go from the Sub Album.

They are not 'DUPLICATED', but linked.

How to add a photo to the contacts ?

you can't add a photo which you have sent through Bluetooth as it is stored in a emulated environment. try to move the photo first on your images folder or whichever folder you want thereby removing it from the emulated environment. then go to contacts, tap menu, tap the contact you want to edit, tap the image, tap assign or replace, then locate the images you move and assigned it.

else you can also try the work around.
locate the folder where you stored the transferred photo, tap the image, tap menu, tap set as, there are some options asking you what you want to do, set as wallpaper, etc and one of them is set as contact photo, tap set as contact photo, locate the contact whom you want to assign the image and then tap save.

hope this helps.. :)

How to easily delete all images off camera sony cybershot DSC-W5

To delete multiple images without formatting your card (which will work), you can delete them in "index mode." You can delete all the images in a folder by selecting [All In This Folder] with your up/down button, then press the delete button. You can see the instructions on the bottom right of page two in the bottom of the "Read This First" instructions here http://www.docs.sony.com/release/DSCW5revised_RTF.pdf

it sounds like you deleted the images. If you are downloading images from your camera or card....you should open the folder to view images. hold control key down and select all images that you want to download. right click on them on click save.

it sounds like you are trying to rename a folder before downloading anything. I know that when I try to edit or rotate any of my images on my card, i first need to download the images to a folder before doing any edits. it does sound like you were trying to rename your folder. normally, you would right click on folder, and click rename. hope this helps. if you need anything else, feel free to ask!!!

Images duplicate can't be deleted

the problem is you might have installed a folder locker on your mobile. try uninstalling it. another reason might be due to a virus on your phone.
Make a through scan of your mobile by connecting it to your PC. After doing all this, if still your problem persist then format your mobile and install a fresh copy of software.

Deleting photos of my camera

Your camera creates folders on the SD card to hold the images. It puts about 100 images in each folder. (See page 111 in the User Guide.) When you erase images, it may only be erasing the images in one folder. But your computer still sees the images in the other folder(s). To completely erase all images, use the "Format" function (see pages 25 - 26 in the User Guide). To completely clear it, use the Low Level Format option. You can download the User Guide here.

Two copies of the same image printed

Batch printing all images in camera memory while the camera's album generator feature is enabled, will cause such duplicate printing. This is because the album generator creates two images in camera memory: the normal image and a preview image. Batch printing all images will result in the camera printing both the normal image and the preview image. What you should do - Use the camera's DPOF settings to specify the images you want to print. Using DPOF is very simple, and it eliminates the problem of double prints. * See the User's Guide for details about DPOF image settings, specifying the number of copies, date stamping, etc. - The album generation feature also has a delete function for deleting generated album data, so you could also delete the album before batch printing.
