How to I get the speakers inside monitor to work?

I recently was given a MAG Model 780 too. I found the input for speakers just today. When looking at the monitor, on the left side behind the monitor you should be able to feel a flat horizontal surface. If you lay monitor down, you will see 2 mini-plug openings. These are your input spots for speakers/microphone. I believe pink is speakers & green is microphone.

No inlet on my computer for my X223W LCD Monitors audio cord.

Is the monitor supplied with inbuilt speakers..? Most monitors no longer have inbuilt speakers and this is why there is no place to connect the audio cable. You will have to purchase a set of external speakers and connect these to the audio output of your system.

Welcome to the computer age. I looked up your HP W1907 monitor. It comes with a built in microphone and speakers but no audio jack for plugging in headphones. You will need to find an audio jack on your computer tower. Most new computers have audio and microphone jacks on their front face. In most cases there will be a picture of a microphone or headphones next to the jack to tell you what it is. If you can't find one on the front, look in the back. The audio jack is usually color coded green. I hope this helps you out.

Speakers - monitor E15T4

Every monitor doesn't have a place to plug speakers, does the monitor have speakers built in? You may have to plug your speakers up directly to the computer, imagine that!

No sound on new LG Flatiron Monitor

You need to get a set of powered computer speakers!

I always found that stand alone speakers are much better than the ones in the monitor.

Compaq monitor speaker

If everything worked before you moved it, I would try checking the simple things 1st.
Make sure that the plug from the speakers is plugged into the correct hole in the back of your computer. Usually, the color of the plug for the speakers and the jack are GREEN.
If the power isn't coming on the speakers, then I would make sure that you have the correct power plug (If the speaker type that you have, has a removable power supply).

What you can to to test out the speakers, is plug the speakers into an IPOD or a MP3 player and test it out.
This will at least eliminate the possiblity that the speakers/wires/power supply are bad.

Hope this helps.
Good luck.
