Hold the top off button and one of the left hand side buttons push them in together untill phone reads slide to power off slide arrow and wait for phone to turn off wait about 1 minute then turn phone back on by pushing button on top of phone apple simble will come up resetting phone
I had the same problem. I checked the voltage first to ensure it was greater than 3.7V (some batteries were not). I left the door open and pushed the battery down and pressed the button and it powered up. Seems to be a problem with the contacts. I put about 6 layers of duct tape on top of the battery to cause the door to push it down and now it works.
This will happen when the battery has become completely drained. Plug it into the wall using the A/C adapter and allow it to charge for a while. If it still won't power on, hold the sleep button (on top of the phone) and the home button for about 5-6 seconds for a soft reset. When you plug it in you should see the symbol of a drained battery on the screen as it charges up.
if the power button is broken then get a bobby pin to stick in the plae of it and push down and it should turn on.>>>>>>>>i have tried it at home and it worked>>>>>>>i have alot of phones to try stuff on to solve questions that people have here.im glad to help.RATE ME>>>>>>>>MAKE IT GOOD<<<<<<<
Push the top left button (looks like an audio tape). Then push 9 It will display a 180second count down in which to record your voice message. When finished, push the top right button (looks like and arrow into a diamond).
To turn off/on the answering machine:
I lost my user manual for my Doro 615R+1 home phone, so after much deliberation and playing with many buttom combinations, worked out how to turn off the answering machine.
- Open the answering machine function by pushing the top left button (looks like an audio tape).
- Push '0' and then use the up and down arrows to select On or Off.
- To enter your selection push the top right button (looks like and arrow into a diamond).
