Question about Computers & Internet
All I can think of is maybe it's muted? Anyway, Go to, control panel>sounds devices> goto the, Mic tab and then "enable" it.
if using windows xp or higher then you can see it ...in your Taskbar... and also goto "Sound Device" & from there, find "Mic" tab & uncheck the "Mute" button or raise the volume etc ...

Please check the Specs on your laptop model, I've seen this model before and it does not comes with a microphone.
Anyway, if it does have it, go to the Start Menu/Control Panel, then go to Sound and Audio Devices, and on the window clic on Advanced on the Device Volume section. When the Volume window opens up, clic the Options Tab, then properties window, select the Mixer Device that says something about Output, and click okay. It will make the Volume window to show the microphone options. Just turn the volume up and make sure the Select button is checked.
