Thank you for that, the washing machine is draining fine, but the error comes up way before the the spin cycle. like it not filling the machine with water, the error comes up within 5 mins of starting.

Take the bottom front panel off (it has 3 screws.) There will be an off white circular plastic thing there. Resembles the top to a canister. Twist it off. There will be a good bit of water if it hasn't drained properly. put a cookie sheet under it to catch most of the water. Once you completely unscrew the top off hopefully your problem will be right there. you will find socks, a glove, a bead, coins ,nail etc etc in there . check out properly for this and clean that area and check out.
---------
Check out the two things:---
1. Underneath the rubber gasket of the front-loading drum, and, 2. In the drain line, but not in the hose that comes out of the back of the machine. The manual and website make no mention of the three torx screws on the front, lower panel that can be removed, exposing a drain that can then be unscrewed (be prepared for A LOT of water to come out of here if you haven't been able to get it to drain). Inside here you will find the culprit baby socks etc etc , remove them, run a fan on the exposed electronics over night to dry them out, and put it back together. and check out.

if there is a leakage check out for leak in the drain pump.
You can get required parts from www.repairclinic.com
This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya

The F02 error is a drain error as it seems you know. The first thing you will want to check is your drain pump for debris as this is the most common issue.

To access the drain pump you will need to remove the three screws at the very bottom of your access panel (i usually tip the washer back and set it on my steel toe boot to access the screws). Then pull down slightly on the panel and you can remove it. The drain pump will be located just right of center and it has a cap on it that you can unscrew (counter clockwise). You will want to have a shop vac or a bunch of towels ready as there will be alot of standing water in the machine especially if you have repeatedly tried to cycle the unit. What I do is just crack it open a little bit and let the shop vac **** out the water until the shop vac is full then close it back up and repeat. Once all the water is out remove the drain pumps lint screen (you will find all kinds of fun stuff in there I see alot of baby socks and coins)

Once cleaned stick your finger in a feel the impeller make sure you can spin it freely. Then screw the filter back in and fill the washer and try to drain it. If the washer still wont drain you may have an issue with your drain pump motor or pressure switch. This would require a professional diagnosis however this will solve your problem 19/20 times.

Good luck I love the do-it-yourself attitude give it a shot and you may end up saving yourself alot of money. We charge 120.00 to clear a drain pump. Its worth your time.

Let me know how it pans out _MJ_

You may have something clogging your pressure switch line. You can remove the rubber tube that hooks into the tub and blow into it sometimes this will clear any type of clog in the pressure switch line. This F02 error is really tricky and according to maytag/wpl is a no drain issue but on occasion will be something else. You can also try removing the top panel (3 torx screws in the back then push the panel towards the back of the unit with your palm) and you will see the pressure switch where the plastic tube hooks into it from the tub. Ive heard that tapping on the side of the pressure switch a few times with the back of a screwdriver can sometimes make this error go away. Its never worked for me however a few guys I work with found success with this method. I would give it a shot before you call someone out. Its free!

    good luck _MJ_

I guess without being able to look at the unit if the above advise doesnt work then I would have to assume a defective pressure switch.

  • Matt Ace Appliance Feb 07, 2010

Im sorry for whatever reason your model number is not coming up on my model look-up engine so I cant give you the part number. If replacing the pressure switch does not solve your problem then I would have to assume its a software issue in either your MCU or CCU causing this recurring error.

    Good Luck _MJ_

Hi,

This Code Means Long Drain.

If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes, the water valves are turned off and "F/02" is flashed.

NOTE: After 4 minutes the "Sud" error will be displayed, then 4 minutes later the F02 error code will be displayed.

Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.

* Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.
* Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is running.
* Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects.
* If the above does not correct the problem, replace the pump.

Let me know, if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Pam: This code relates to WATER PRESSURE , could be a (1) Krink hose, (2) plugged strainer where water enters the machine ( doing it's job) or (3) a sensor that malfunctioning (thinking you have NO water pressure. These sensor prevent the machine from operating dry, flooded etc, some times they OVER protects. So check the first 3 items above. you may have IN HOME service on it.

Error E10 keeps popping up and washer stops 2 or 3 times during cycle and have to reset it

E10 means that your cold water is coming in too slow, disconnect the cold water hose and check to see if the screen on your washing machine is clogged. If the screen is clean and the hose has good pressure then you will need to replace the water valve on your machine--- this is the piece that the hoses directly connect to.

Here could find additioan sample guide details: fixed-frigidaire-affinity-washer-gives-e10-error

Hope helps.

I BROUGHT A BUSH WASHING MACHINE WM-1470TVE HAD IT 2 DAYS AND KEEPS COMING UP WITH Err5

Hi.

Err 5 is water inlet problem.

Move the appliance, ensure that the water hose is not kinked or blocked, and check filter in water hose if installed.

Check connected faucet and water pressure.

If the inlet hose and pressure is OK, then the inlet valve and water level switch must be tested as one of the two parts is likely giving the error.

Regards.

Ginko.

My washing machine showing an OE error before end of cycle

OE error is noyhing but an Outlet Error.. OE simply means “the pump is blocked”. Clean and straighten the drain hose / clean the drain filter. Check the hoses (drain hose) and the pump filter but if it didn't cure the problem then turn the thing upside down and strip the pump out of it check if anything is caught in the impellor.. if so remove it and everything will be fine..

LF Error

"LF" is a Long Fill error. If the fill time exceeds roughly 10 minutes, the fill valves are shut down and the error code is generated. If the error does not clear, or keeps reoccurring, it is recommended that you doublecheck to make sure your water taps are on all the way and check the hoses for kinks or clogs. If everything checks okay, check the screens on the fill valve for sediment build up. You may need to replace the valve.

My samsung washing machiene keeps coming up with the error 4e. what does this mean?

When error message 4E is displayed, you should clean the water hose mesh filter. To do this:

1. Turn off the water source to the washing machine.
2. Unscrew the hose from the back of the washing machine.
3. With a pair of pliers, gently pull out the mesh filter from the end of the hose and rinse it under water until clean. Also clean the inside and outside of the threaded connector.
4. Push the filter back into place.
5. Screw the hose back onto the washing machine.
6. Turn on the faucet and make sure the connections are watertight.

Also, please check the following:
• Make sure the source water faucet is turned on.
• Check the water pressure.
