You might wanna try it in a different computer to tell if it's the mouse it self that is faulty.

Onn wireless mouse onb15ho203 won't work. I don't know if it's a computer issue or a peripheral issue. How can I trouble shoot this?

Does the mouse light up? If not, check the batteries are good by putting them in something else known to work. Check the batteries are in the right way round. If all that check out, go to control panel settings - Hardware and delete the mouse, turn the computer off at the wall and switch it back on. If that doesn't bring it back, you need a new one, it is a Deadmaus :>)

MY IMICRO WIRELESS MOUSE WAS WORKING FINE WITH BATTERIES AND WHEN HOOKED UP TO THE USB. IT HAS STOPPED WORKING AND ISN'T EVEN BEING RECOGNIZED WHEN I PLUG IT IN. MY COMPUTER THINKS IT'S A HANDY CAM OR...

I am still learning about this mouse since there were ZERO directions.
There is a button on the Dongle and the bottom of the mouse that apparently have to be pressed at the same time to activate it. As well, the batteries don't last very long. Some say you can use rechargeable batteries; recharge batteries with USB cord plugged in. I haven't discovered what the button below the scroll button does..Good luck.

GE Wireless "Malfunction" "Unknown Device"

Does the mouse and/or keyboard have a "connect" button on the bottom of either? Try restarting your PC, then, if you have installed new batteries, and the mouse/keyboard is still not connected, try the "Connect" button if any.

Microsoft wireless mouse 3000; put in new battery, still nothing

nikcorra2488,

try this: plug in the USB key & check for the green light. Then go to start, control panel, & double click mouse (with whatever mouse works). Check the hardware tab and see it the computer is recognizing that the mouse is there. If it is there, it should be working fine. If not, then perhaps you need to reinstall the USB port drivers. Sometimes this will happen when you've upgraded from 1.0 to 2.0 USB ports.

Hope this helps.

Spyder mouse won't work

I had a similar problem. I corrected by performing a manual connect as listed in the manual that came with the mouse.
Manual reconnect:
1. Plug in the receiver.
2. Turn on the mouse.
3. Press the button on the receiver.
4. Press the connect button on the mouse once within five seconds of pressing the button on the receiver.

This worked for me, and the mouse has worked fine since.

If this doesn't work. The manual suggested taking the batteries out of the mouse for 20 seconds and unplugging the receiver, then repeat the steps above.
If that doesn't work. reboot the computer and repeat the steps above.

Hope this helps.

Mouse does not work I have installed new batteris

Try hitting the SYNC button on the bottom of the mouse at the same time as hitting the SYNC button on the USB receiver (assuming this is a USB wireless mouse). Also try removing the USB receiver and plugging it back in.

Had the same problem. There are 2 reset/ connect buttons: 1 on the mouse, and 1 on the usb device. Press the button on the usb device, and it should start right up. Good luck.

Mouse is not working

If it's a wired USB-type mouse: Unplug it and plug it back in. The computer will recognize it.

If it's a wired PS/2 (green plug): You're mouse is dead. Replace it.

If it's wireless: Check the batteries in the mouse. Hit the 'connect' button on the transmitter and then immediately hit the connect button (usually on the bottom). The red light on bottom will stop blinking and will be steady. It should work a few seconds after that.
