The front panel comes off by removing the screws at the bottom outside corner of the panel. Slide the panel down about an inch and it will come off. The top panel has two screws in the back that hold it in. Be very careful with the wiring connectors when you put them back. They only go one way.

First off, cleaning will not fix the problem. Replacement is the only solution. Go to TigerDirect or Amazon for a new DVD read/write unit. $30 to $40 and your back in business.

Try cleaning the lens that sits on top of the laser - use something like
If that doesn't work then the laser has died, and the entire unit with it - it happens. Time for a new one, it's just $30 at every pc shop.

Error 22 whats that?

The EE22 message means the stove quit with an EE2 three time in a row. In order to clear the EE22 you must unplug the unit for 20 minutes. Then you can try again. It sounds like you have the fuel problem figured out?

If your screen is clean and the circulating fan motor works you will have to remove the front cover. Take the two screws off the bottom and move the front down and off. The top will need to be removed as well. There are two screws in the back. Move the top cover forward and lift it up. You may see the plastic cover that is meant to cover the circuit board is laying down in front of the overheat switch. If so just lay it back over the circuit board.

Keep us posted if this is the case. I have seen two new heaters this way in the last 6 months.

I just doesn't load/read CD's.

I had the same problems with my four year Denon DVD-3910 and the only solution to it was to replace the laser unit with a new one.

There are some repair service on EBay that offer new laser units for only about 50 € and are also willing to change the laser unit for an extra charge of just 30 €.

After this replacement your Denon DVD-3910 will work fine again.

Samsung dvd players are known for bad spin motors. You may try to clean the laser and see if that changes the disposition of the problem. If there is no change and with the top of the unit off,if you see the pin point of laser on top of the disc, and the disc moves or shivers, the chances are it is a bad spin motor. In most cases, it is not cost effective to replace the motor. If an auxillary line in jackis available , buy a $30 dvd to replace it rather than taking it to a service facility that will charge you the same amount to evaluate it. Scrivitron
