Well connect ur laptop to another monitor to see if the other screen is ok.
If it displays well, this means ur screen is faulty otherwise it would have been the graphic card.
If it's the screen, it may be caused by your inverter board behind the LCD panel. Try to press on the sides of the lcd to c if anything is loose... I hope that u get the cheapest solution!
