Question about Arris SURFboard SBG900 Wireless Router (DHSBG900)
People are always bringing their laptops into my house wanting to connect to my router. Their computer always asks for a PIN or a password or some other such annoying security nonsemse that I don;t know. Ho do I find this out?
Wireless routers were configured with some security PIN in order to avoid unauthorized connections to your router. To connect to your router, just providing the PIN will do and no need of complex settings. Contact the service engineer who configured your router last time and tell him to configure your router with whatever preference you need. you can also set it in public mode so it wont ask anything and so anyone can connect into your router but this is not secure at all.
I hope this is helpful to you.
