Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
I was in the middle of a game and it froze. So, I turned it off and turned it back on like I usually do. When the R4 card loaded up it deleted a lot of my games randomly... i opened up the folder on my computer and they are there... but with weird symbols for names. Is there any way I can get the save files back?
Honestly, first i would copy al of your ROMs to your computer, and if you want to keep you saved game, copy the .sav files also. Then after that, make sure you have the newest kernel on your computer. Then delete everything on your R4 card. correctly install your kernel on the card again (and if you dont know or remember how to do this, i have written a guide for it) and copy your roms (and .sav files!) back on to your R4 card. PS: it would be better to only copy the kernel at first, load the R4 card in you ds, then after that, load the roms and/or the .sav files.
