Question about Philips MX5100VR System
Phillips Mx5100vr home theater system vcr tape won't eject, Shows error 2. A few years ago I had this problem and somewhere on the internet I found a solution. To unplug the vcr and plug in and press eject about 5 times, or unplug and plug in multiple times then press eject. I cannot find the solution again to get the correct sequence to reset the error and eject the tape. I saved it to hard drive, but pc failed so I do not have the solution. Anyone else know the correct sequence to reset error 2 on phillips vcr.

I have the same problem. The only time that I can get it to work is whenever I turn on the cable box the home theater system turns on too. When I use the DVR it will turn it on too and want to play the CD/DVD. I have a Comcast Motorola DCH3416 DVR
