Question about JVC GR-D770 Camcorder
I have a JVC Digital Video Camera GR-D770U. When I turn on the camera it is zoomed in all the way (which is 34x). I have to zoom it back to 1x. It is blurry and you cannot see what is being filmed. The only spot it is not blurry is at 3x zoom. How do I fix this? I've tried messing with the focus button but have not gotten any results.
Did it work before? If so then it sounds like the focus motor/screw jack has failed and needs replacing. With some JVCs you can replace the whole lens system and a new one will re-calibrate itself, but I'd have to check on this model.
