Which fuse is for the radio? on a 95 Altima

  • Will be a 15 amp fuse in the fuse box under the dash. I think it is the third one up from the bottom on the right half of the fuse panel. If you have a diagram on the cover for the fuse panel it may be market "socket" or "lighter" or "cigarette" as the lighter is on the same fuse.
  • Hope this helps and than you for using FixYa.

Cigarette lighter is not working, and it isnt the fuse.I have bought a new one and i am going to wire it straight from the battery , how will i do it?

It could be that the coil of the lighter itself is burned out-test the socket out with a car charger for a phone and see if the socket lights it up.if that doesnt work check to make sure that its grounded properly and if you absolutely must run it directly off your battery you only need 1 lead for the power straight from the positive to the rear of the socket. You SHOULD fuse near the battery it cuz if it ever shorts on you its going to catch stuff on fire bigtime.

The cigarette lighter of my 2005 ford crown vic police car is not working.it was formally working until one day it didn't work.i don't have the car manual so i don't know what fuse to change.

The fuse holder cup is marked as Cig/liter. You can check this out with a good light.
Even otherwise a quick check with a multimeter can confirm the open fuse.

Some of the lights on dashboard goes off and on and i can't see how fast i am going

autozone sells some small dash lights that wire straight in to the cigarette lighter in the car. they are great for issues like this. but it sounds like the contacts on the lights are wore.. definelty a job to fix....

My cigreter lighter is not working please tell me where is fuse box locate

generally the same fuse as the radio. not knowing what type of car you have it's hard to say but locate the fuse box likely under the dash and check that fuse. as a side note if the cigarette lighter doesn't work... plug something else in to make sure it's the fuse.

My car radio and cig lighter has stop working

prob just a fuse problem. alot of cars will have the radio and cigarette fuse on same circuit. double check all fuses, if good take to shop cause there is a short somewhere.
