Excessive oil in tank when draining. Large puddle. Why

every time the piston goes down it has a vacuum in the cylinder and should draw air through the filter into the cylinder if the air filter is restricted it raise the vacuum and start drawing oil around the rings into the compression chamber which gets pushed into the air tank. The more wore out the piston rings are the more this will happen so if you clean your air filter and drain your tank and it still has oil in the tank it is time to re ring your unit. Also air gets real hot as you compress it so hot air in a tank that is in a cold area will sweat on the inside of the tank so some of what you are seeing is water.

Regulator sticks - only comes on ther first time plugged in and turned on.

Contact ereplacementparts.com. They can discuss your problem and sell you parts as needed.
I think you have a switch problem. There is a switch that turns the motor on when the pressure drops below a certain point. It sounds like that switch does not close unless the unit is off for some time.

How many watts does it have?

Watts is calculated by multiplying voltage times Amps. Locate the specification tag on the compressor for Amps For example 120 volts times 10 amps equals 1200 Watts.

Dewalt D55155-QS 220 volts can it convert to use 115 volts?

The short answer unfortunately is no. The internal motor that drives this compressor requires 220 and will not work properly with 110. Your only option would be to replace the motor with one compatible with 110. The cost of that would approximate a major portion of a replacement unit.

Sorry about the bad news.

Sounds like it isn't getting oil on the bearings. Take it apart yourself, after you get a diagram of it and find a parts source.

What does the error code VC/VH trip mean on a Bryant out door hp cond.

vC/vh Trip or code 6. The start cap and or the start relay is bleeding voltage to the comp in the off cycle. Replace both the cap and relay for the fix.
