My verizon razzle freezes and shuts down as if the battery isn't charged

Need to check Bluetooth and wifi are off.also if the signal bar is weak this will cause phone to hunt for nearest mast continually which uses up battery power.turn the brightness of the LCD down more than usual .if this does not improve battery life get new battery.

Is it plugged up or running on battery power? If it is on AC, try another socket instead of the one used now. If it doesn't turn on while connected to AC then it is likely defective and should be returned. But, just to double-check, try a new battery or a different charger and make sure it is securely plugged into the battery charging port.

Can check if the battery is low ... or is not (or cannot) holding a good charge ... when you unplug it (from the charger) ... when this happens ?

If that is the case, it may "freeze" while it is busy trying to store the contents of your memory before it shuts down (or hibernates). Does it shut down (or goes into hibernate if you let it continue to "freeze") for a while ? If so, then it's your battery.

If the battery doesn't hold a good charge, the laptop will run only a short time (while unplugged) before it has to shut down due to low battery. And if this is the case, consider getting a replacement (new) battery. And follow the initial charging instructions (for a new battery) to lengthen the life of the battery.

did you drop anything on it, like an egg. i did one time and it blocked the microphone of my samsung sch a850.
i had to get a new phone. if you didn't drop anything on it call verizon with another phone and say my calling isn't working. one time after my phone got reactivated and it could not send picture messages so i called verizon and they fixed it right up?

My LG Versa kept freezing up too...Call Verizon and have them tell you what software version is on your phone currently. I then took took it to the Verizon store and had it 'flashed' because there was a newer version for mine...it took about 25 minutes...worked fine...no more freezing up.

Your firmware is most likely corrupted. Backup your data as best you can and take it to a Verizon store (if your service provider is Verizon) and tell them about the problem and to update the phone. Also take out any MicroSD cards and try to use it, if there is any of those inside.
