How many times does the red light blink?
Do you still have audio?
Is the screen lighting up at all (such as a dark gray)?
Also let me know of anything else that may help me determine the cause.

Well, the bad news is that this won't be an easy fix so you probably won't be seeing the Superbowl on this tv tonight. Either someone with electrical experience or a repair shop will need to fix this tv. Only have someone who knows how to SAFELY work on this tv, do the work (a good indication of who should work on it is whether they understand everything I have said within this paragraph). You or someone else will first need to check for bad resistors near the Convergence IC's (integrated circuits)? They won't show visibly, you have to use a meter to measure them. The color bands will indicate their respective ratings. If any are bad, replace and see how that works. Another thing to check is whether you are getting high voltage. If you aren't, then you can try disconnecting one CRT at a time and see if one them is bad. If you still can't get any HV, then try replacing the Deflection board.

Does your set blink a consistent number of times before turning green?
Often, the number of blinks will correspond to a particular internal problem or component failure. How many blinks of red before the green light appears?

It blinks red nine times before turning green...now the green light is not coming on.

My samsung model hcl552w does not show a picture...the light on the front blinks 9 times and then it was turning green but now it doesn't even turn green.
I have determined that it is not the cable. No one has walked me through any other steps to determine what may be wrong. I have no idea of what to do.
