Hi the question is not quite clear, what is the problem and what kind of symptoms are you having exactly, what kind of problems is the mouse having? from what you told me it sounds like there is a hardware fault in the machine and it would require repairs at a professional, possibly the mainboard would need to be replaced but im afraid that is in most cases too costly to even consider since a new machine will cost you around the same price as the mainboard replacement would.

How Can I connect my wireless Logitech mouse to my laptop?

You should search for small wireless USB dongle (receiver) and insert it into USB port of your laptop. You bought The dongle with mouse. Sometimes it is placed inside mouse on bottom side. See picture.

A mouse driver is usually installed automatically in a while after the dongle is connected to PC.

IS THERE A BATTERY IN THE CORDLESS MOUSE RECEIVER FOR A LOGITECH TRACKMAN WHEEL

No, there's no battery for the cordless mouse receiver. The receiver is only getting a small amount of power from the USB ports of the computer.

Thank you!

My usb mouse broke and i would like to use another logitech cordless mouse but cant seem to get it to work...the red light is coming on under mouse so i think the battery is ok

There should be a small connect button on the receiver and one on the mouse.

Press the button on the receiver first, then the one on the bottom of the mouse.

I have two logitech cordless mice that have suddenly crossed signals while being operated in the same room. How do I get them to work independently again?

Typically there is a range limit to the cordless mouse to prevent this crossing of signals. Some have a connect button you can press to re-sync them to their respective module.

Some are on the receiver module (Small button on the front)
Some are found on the mouse on the bottom.

You could also disconnect one mouse temporarily.
Sync up the only live mouse then start the other short time after.

To prevent this from happening again later.
Try to move the mice further apart so the signals can't cross.

Good luck!

I have a Logitech wireless mouse that I cannot seem to get working on the computer i have a logitech cordless mouse JNZ201962 which i cant seem to operate even thou it says the drivers are installed

Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch. Hope this helps you. Bud

Hotkey problems

I had the same problem but finally found a solution hidden in the depths of Logitech. It's quoted below. I had to do it a couple of times before it worked, and it seems that you need to reconnect the mouse at the same time. I didn't the first time and then the keyboard refused to work. (Finger trouble?) :-(

Cheers,
Magani

You may be able to reset the keyboard and resolve the problem by clearing the keyboard capacitors. To do this, remove the batteries from the keyboard and type continuously on as many keys as possible for one to two minutes. This action should simulate touch-typing; you should not press and hold only some keys down.
After you clear the capacitors, replace the batteries and synchronize the keyboard using the following procedure:
  1. Make sure the batteries are in correctly. A diagram on the device itself or in the Getting Started Guide should tell you the correct polarity for the batteries.
  2. Press the connect button on the receiver.
  3. Press the connect button on the bottom or right hand edge of the keyboard.
NOTE: If you are using a Cordless Desktop System, you must do this procedure for both the mouse and the keyboard.
The "Connect" button on the mouse is quite small and usually requires a pencil tip or other small object to push it. Remember, ALL Logitech cordless devices will have a synchronization button. If you have the "Cordless Mouse" with Model Number (M/N) M-RN67, the button will be located in a small hole on the lower portion of the back of the mouse. You will need a paper clip to access the button.
