Question about Sharp Aquos LC-42D62U 42 in. LCD HDTV
Try the easy stuff first. Make sure the AC cord is plugged tight into the tv (the cord is removable and sometimes they come loose. Make sure there is power at that outlet by plugging something else into it to test. If that doesn't fixit there is a fuse on the power supply. Unplug tv and remove cover to check it. Most fuses are clear glass so you can tell if the wire inside popped or not. If it did you might get lucky and it just needs replacing. Always replace with exact same size and rated fuse. If it didn't pop the power supply may have failed. This link
Power supply will take you to an online parts store. Power supply is the #1 suspect. The main pcb (motherboard) would be #2. Good luck.
