I believe the part number for that is 003620020003 , but I believe it is a NLA item. Your best bet is to get the complete module off of another used tv, or contact the repair module companies like PTS electronics or tristate module to check their stock, they might have a rebuilt or a leftover transformer, who knows, try ebay, there is all sorts of things for sale over there. Good luck!

Flyback b+ low

Two main reasons. Fly-back transformer [including it H-out transistor] and/or the main power supply section [SMPS] fault. Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. I have a 2006, 32inch magnavox tv, model #32MT3305/17, serial # YA1AD517636280, chassis date April 2006, LO1 1UAC-7638. The is green light comes on when the tv is turned on and nothing happens after that....

Horizontal deflection is not working in TV and defective Fly-back Transformer or Horizontal Output Transistor can be cause of this symptoms. TV is in safety mode so you cant get picture and sound.
Need further help, please post back.

1) EHT not fired 2) CRT tube - No heater on 3) NO display

if no heater on crt tube the tendency was no display, that means the oscillation is not working and therefore fly back transformer will not work. now how are you going to locate the problem first you need to check the regulator if good then the horizontal out put transistor if it is not shorted. if one of this major part is defective circuit will not work. vertical section will just only wait to the horizontal output to oscillate. and every section will work after horizontal oscillate. good luck hope it will help you.

I have a magnavox model number 32mt3305/17 the green power light on the front panel is on but no sound or picture...just a black screen ...the fuse is good

You have lost your high voltage section, and that is why the TV is in shutdown mode, it has a horizontal output transistor that is shorted, and it is located on a metal heat sink near the fly back. You can have it repair if taken to the shop for about 100.

My Magnavox plasma screen tv, model number: 42MF237S/37 makes a clicking sound when I try to turn it on. No sounds, no picture, just the clicking noise. Things I have tried so far: 1) Turning the TV off...

You either have a cold solder joint in your horizontal deflection circuits or your or in your horizontal output circuit. please be careful due to the fly-back transformer still holds power even unplugged until you discharge it.( ground it out). Hope this helps.

RCA HD27F754T 1 Solid Red Light, then, 10 Blinking Red Lights

HI. this may be a fly back situation. this is a transformer that is located on the power board section of your set. This device stores and, distributes the necessary AC current needed for proper CRT performance. There is also a horizontal deflection chip that will shut off the transformer if it becomes unstable as well.

I recommend checking the Horizontal deflection chip for damage. if this chip is in good condition, replace the HV Fly back transformer.

SHORTED OUTPUT MAGNAVOX TV

Hello valexandrur,

You are in the correct section, now your problem may be a shorted Integrated High Voltage Transformer (IHVT) also called a Fly-back Transformer and or a shorted Horizontal Output Transistor (HOT). I would first check the Transistor to see if it is shorted between the emitter and collector (to do this use a multimeter set to "Rx1") and the reading between the emitter and collector should be near infinite no reading, if the reading is 000 ohms then the transistor is shorted and should be replaced. Now for the hard part, you technically can not check for shorted transformer turns in the IHVT using a multimeter, you will have to use a device which will allow you to do what is called a ring test. If you do not have this piece of equipment (IHVT tester), I would replace the IHVT just as a matter of good measure, since the HOT had drawn a lot of current I would assume that the IHVT was damaged to since it is in the serial path between the collector of the transistor and the VCC supply.

I hope this helps,

Thank you,

Sony Trinitron 2002 Model # KV-32HS500 stand by light blinks 7 times, pauses and repeats. No picture or sound.

7 times blinks shows problem in Horizontal Deflection stage of tv and possible defective part can be Horizontal Output Transistor or Fly back Transformer.
If your are qualified tech person then go ahead to check above parts.

The flyback transformer is defective when the LED flashes 8 times. The FBT is located on the main board(D board).
Location of the part is T8005 and the Sony part number is 1-453-285-41
This part is available from this website.
This type of repair might not be a DIY due to the danger of working with devices that generate high voltages.
