you know what.. there is NO call for being rude...
"Where do you think it would be I can't turn a screwdriver for you.." I really do not appreciate your commentary. I asked an honest question... Turned to your company for a bit of help. That was a mistake! won't be using this service again.

And as far as the rating, that was honest.. more so now than the first e-mail reply.

You need to work on your people skills. That is no way to communicate with your customers!

Water is not draining.... OE symbol appears on display. Checked the connection up to sink and drainage out to garbage disposal. everything seems fine there!

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

OE is a drain error and is displayed when the washer is unable to drain water. Please check the drain hose and drain pump filter by removing the bottom front access panel for any clogs to clean the error. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Washer does not drain water

Hello,

The major reason for this to happen is the clogging of the drain pipe of the washing machine. If, even after you clean the drainage hose, the problem persists, there may be other problems.

Next possibility could be that the drainage pump which drives the water out of the drainage hose may be clogged! So, remove the drainage pump and clean it. That should solve the problem. it might also be that the belt of the drainage pump motor may have loosened. If this is the case, you have to simply tighten it.

Take care.

My washer will not drain . I washed bathroom rugs that fell apart leaving excess fibers that I beleive plugged up the holes that allows drainage. A few gallons of water is still sitting in my washer and...

If your washer does not drain you need to check this parts.
  1. Inspect the drain hose for kinks
  2. Test the timer control
  3. Test the lid switch(some models)
  4. Inspect the water pump
  5. Inspect the drive belt(belt drive only)
  6. Inspect the motor coupler
If the drain hose reaches more than about 4 inches into the laundry tub, cut off the excess. If your drain hose is lower than the washer's cabinet, install an air gap/siphon break assembly.

My washer is not draining during the spin cycle

not draining your washer at all, pump may be bad or no power to pump, take the drain hose out of the "stand-pipe" where water enters the sewer drain, and lower to floor and see if water drains by gravity if only slowly your pump or hose may have a slug of crud in it blocking drainage to sewer pipe

Washer won't spin out the water

This is a drainage issue. the spin cycle works in conjunction with the draining pump. they both work at the same time during the spin. if the drainage hoses or pump are clogged with debris, it will prevent the water from being drained properly.

Check the following to address the faulty drainage issue.

1. Clogged drain line or water pump
Check to see if there's something stuck inside the pump or the drain hose connected to the pump (pump is usually located at the bottom and towards the back of the washing machine).

2. Water Pump
If the drain line isn't clogged, you may have a problem with the water pump such as a frozen pulley or a broken impeller. If that's the case replace the water pump. Note: if you have a belt driven washer, check the belt(s) for cracks, as this would be a perfect time to replace the belt(s) if needed.

Washing machine inlet/drain problem

You may have a simple problem known as "siphoning". Have you checked your installation/ In particular, the drain hose? the following link explains how to check and correct a siphoning problem with a washer:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r587481-prevent_washer_siphoning

Usually when a washer drains as it tries to fill, its a drainage problem of some type. You may have a simple problem that is easily remedied. You may not require anything, but pulling the drain hose up out of the standpipe and repositioning it to ensure there is a proper air gap for drainage. I hope this helps you.

Drain problem in GE WBSE2090A washer

hello, if you washer is not or isn't fully draining that sounds like something might be in the pump.Icheck for any hose blockage as well.If there is a bad smell that might be dirt or a peice of clothing or anything. so my suggestion is to check your drainage hose, the pump or maybe try even to syphan out the pump which means put the drainage hose in a bucket lower than the washer or your drainage is higher than the washer. good luck...

Washer wont fill, keeps draining

If you do not allow an air gap for proper drainage on your drain line, the water will siphon out of the washer as it tries to fill. Double check to make sure: 1. You do not have the washer drain hose placed too far down into the standpipe. 2. You do not have the top of the standpipe sealed off. Placing the hose too far into the standpipe may cause the drain line to be sitting in water in the drain trap, leaving no air gap. Sealing off the top of the standpipe will have the same affect. Remember, you need an air gap for proper drainage. Only place the hose about 3 to 4 inches into the standpipe and the fit should not be tight. That is, there should be an air gap around the drain hose as it sits inside the standpipe. Double check and let me know if this helps.
