The manual is not very helpful and people may still be looking for an answer. This is the procedure
Go to start, settings, click on connections tab. tap on network cards.
Select internet from the drop down list, then select Samsung WLAN CF
Card and press OK on top right.
leave the dot in "use server assigned IP address", click ok.
You will get a message to say that the next time adaptor is used it will
have new settings. Click ok. You can now exit those pages. Go right out, shut down wlan.
Now bottom right of the main screen to the left of the bluetooth icon is
like a little box with a small person? and red cross. tap it and go to turn wlan ON. You
should see your SSID and be prompted for a key. If not, go to wlan utility
instead. or go to the beacon/lighthouse top right of start screen and tap that. Father Christmas

Hi mach1 Your PDA is fine, it only needs two things. A Firmware update that could be obtained from Acer's website. And your battery needs to be replaced. If it was up to me, I prefer that you visit a support center, then get all your problems fixed. Goodluck

If your router has wireless broadcasting. Check all the settings in your router. Add the MAC address of the WIFI Card to your routers Wireless settings and also maybe in your firewall settings in the networking of your router. Be sure to add the WEP key when you connect to your router. Check your security settings.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
