Your guitar needs to be calibrated. You can do this in the options menu on the main screen.

I just bought a new tv, when I play guitar hero on the wii, it is responding very slow. When I press a button, if will work about 0.5 secs later so I just can't hit the notes at the right time...

Sometimes when playing Guitar Hero on a LCD TV or some other types, there will be a small delay between what's shown on the screen and what's heard. You can go into the game options and set up manual calibration. It's a little rough around the edges, but it'll get the job done. Hope this helps!

Should the guitar work?

It definitely depends on the kind of guitar you buy. And what system you're playing on. If you're playing on the wii, good luck. You might be able to pull it off with another system, but I wouldn't count on it.

Guitar Hero II and III were made for the older systems right? So I don't think the new guitars will work. Just in case, here's some things you might try.

Guitar Hero - the guitar plays on its own

Yes.

Radio frequency interference may cause the Wii Remote to work erratically. Check for wireless devices like cell phones, wireless computer keyboards or mice, or other similar devices, and move or turn them off.

Recalibrate the sensor after, make sure the connections are tight.

Now go get that 5 star on "Through the Fire and Flames"!

Guitar does not work with guitar hero and everything freezes

you have to open the thing on the wii where you put the SD card, and there will be a red button. Press it. Then, plug in the remote to to controller, open the battery compartment and press the red button. This should sync the remote to the wii. In the future you have to plug in the remote to the controller BEFORE the wii is turned on. As for your second problem i dont know.

Multiplayer with guitar hero

make shure to start the wii, then when it says to press the a button use one guitar. use that same guitar to go to the disk and start it then push the a button on the second guitar. and it should light the blue box number 2 on remote go to head to head and they both should work fine.

When playing video games on an HDTV there can be a slight delay between the input and the picture on the screen, because the TV spends time processing the signal. Most games won't be a problem with this, but rhythm games need to be right on. Your TV may have a "game mode" you can set it to that will sync things up better. Check the on-screen menus for your TV for an option like this.
