  • Try "uninstalling the "Mouse, next (Rollback Driver), and restart the computer. Reinstall the "mouse device" "update drivers: automatically, or "manually." *Note: "The Manual (option) will reinstall the original drivers. "Did this solution help? I am unable to hold down the left mouspad key and scroll down the page

Try putting the pointer on the little bar in the middle of the scroll bar. While you hold the left button down.If you want to go from one end to the other fast click inside the track. If your mouse has a wheel click any where on the page and roll the wheel and the page will move. Some wheels can be clicked down like a left click and in this position a four way or to way arrow will appear and you can just move the mouse in the direction you wish to move and stop and the page will scroll at the speed that you stop at this is auto scroll . Some wheels will move the page sideways by pushing the wheel to the side.I like Logitech products.Thank You fur choosing FixYa.com.

I always add this for your information. If this is not the solution that you are looking for please re post because when we pick a question to answer FixYa takes it out of the questions.

Mouse does not work, wheel keeps flashing fast, for few second and stops. Each time i try to move it, it acts like that

make sure you have the right mouse selected click start control panel mouse hardware you will see which mouse is selected
you might have to uninstall the mouse then restart your computer then reinstall the mouse and its drivers
make sure the lead from the mouse has a secure seating and the lead is not bad/faulty
((if applicable))
make sure the battery is good ((has full charge))also you might test the usb device for the mouse is inserted correctly into the usb port ((if applicable))
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to mice and other pointing devices you might see a yellow exclamation mark ! or question mark ? or a red x right click you will have options to update driver software disable uninstall scan for hardware in xp changes and properties
click start control panel mouse you should see 4 tabs buttons, pointers, pointer options and hardware under hardware you have options to troubleshoot also you can select properties under driver you will have options to update driver, rollback driver or uninstall also
I have found that the best way to adjust your mouse settings is to create a control panel in your bottom toolbar scroll to the bottom of your screen right click you will see an array of options select the toolbar option then select desktop then you will see the desktop in the bottom toolbar select the 2 arrows then all control panel items then select mouse this is in WINDOWS 7 in XP you will have to select the new toolbar option once you have that a browse option select my computer then control panel then a control panel option will be in the bottom toolbar
hope this helps

Asus A6000 entertainment-how can i slow down

This is not a computer problem, but rather a problem of the game setup.
Start your game and go to "setup" or "options" or something like that. One of the options will be related to "mouse speed" or "mouse sensitivity". Turn the speed or sensitivity down a couple of notches, save the new settings and try the game again.

Scroll keeps moving foreward, meaning one push on wheel moves page 4 times and not one move.

Hello my friend,to customize your mouse settings, click Start, and then click Control Panel, click Printers and Other Hardware and then click Mouse. After that in the Mouse Properties dialog box, click the Wheel tab, increase the number to make your scroll wheel move faster, or decrease the number to make it move slower, then click Apply, click OK and your done.

Mouse continually skips around. I changed batteries, reset it and everything. What's wrong?

You have the tracking speed set too high.Go to 'start'-'control panel'-'printers and other hardware'-'mouse'.After opening mouse you'll see "pointer options",click and you'll see "pointer speed".Move the speed down from fast to slow until you can see it easily. The other thing is if you don't have enough RAM memory it won't be able to keep up with simple hand movements.Click "start'-right click"computer"left click"properties"and up will come what you have for a computer will be displayed.Near the bottom of the page will be RAM,to it's left is how much you have.XP you need at least 512MB(1GB is better-up to 3GB best)Vista 1GB minimum,up to 6GB with Vista x64.Adding Ram is the easiest way to speed up a sluggish machine. Please re post if you'd like to get into changing setting for best performance.

Scroll mouse is choppy when I am trying to scroll. It sometimes even goes back up. Very irritating.

Try going into your Control Panel, go into the Mouse controls, and change the wheel scroll settings. There's a "lines to scroll" option that determines how much or little the wheel moves the page. Try changing this number up or down and see if the problem gets any better. Does the scroll wheel feel OK? is it sticky or hard to turn? is it smooth and loose?

The 4X override and fast-writes can't be supported totally in XP..........

first check the bios version and tyan's compatability site for the video cards support...

if all checks well and the bios has been updated ...

then: try running a ps/2 mouse and verify the usb components is not the error....

be sure you have support for 1.0 and 1.1 usb activated for a mouse support.. and keyboard mouse options on in the bios...

is it a mouse error ... or video card error... check for updates on the manufacturers of the mouse if usb...
