Question about Apple iPod nano 3rd Generation
On its start up it ask either to press menu for formating or any other key to move forward but pressing another keys doesnt help a it does not move further.yes it acts as a perfect pen drive sort of thing but when open as a pen drive it doesnt contain any software installed.
the other view is that its files are corrupted an needs reloading.plz help me in this
Connect the ipod to the computer or power outlet, turn the hold switch on then off again, then press and hold both the MENU and the center button. The ipod will reset and the data will not be lost. if that doesnt work try this: try going to the device manager by right clicking on my computer then under the hardware tab. if you see an icon in the drop down list with a yellow exclimation mark beside it then thats why. right click on the icon click either uninstall or reinstall. if that doesnt work it might be the usb drives are not 2.0 combatible.. but that is highly unlikely. another solution might be to look in the windows driver archives and try to locate an ipod driver. if not the simplest solution might just be to use a diffrent usb port, and if you are using a usb hub try going straight to the computer instead of through the hub.
